Blizzard says Weaken is intended to affect damage and healing without completely preventing ability use. For opponents, the practical distinction is important: Sombra can make a teammate less effective and sustain her own allies, but the removed Hack lockout is not a threat in this version.
How should you respond to Hotfix?
Hotfix can heal an ally over time, or Sombra can use it on health packs and most enemy deployables. Those uses have different effects and constraints:

- Ally healing: Hotfix gives the target 65 instant health, then 25 health per second, up to 175 total healing or 12 seconds, whichever comes first. It has a 0.5-second cast time, two charges, and an 8-second cooldown.
- Health packs and deployables: Hacking one does not consume her ally-healing charges and has a separate 6-second cooldown. Taking damage interrupts this action and triggers that cooldown.
When Sombra is supporting a pressured teammate, coordinate pressure rather than treating the healing as a reason to split your attention. If you see her begin the health-pack or deployable interaction, damage can interrupt it. Hotfix used while Sombra is stealthed temporarily reveals her without ending Stealth, giving your team a visible cue to communicate.
How do you play around Cyberspace?
Cyberspace is a projectile that explodes on impact and creates a 5-meter-radius zone for 3 seconds. Its initial burst deals 40 damage to enemies and heals allies for 40. While the zone remains, it deals 25 damage per second to enemies and heals allies for 30 per second. Enemies inside are Weakened, reducing their damage and healing output by 50%.

- Call out affected teammates and help them avoid being left under pressure while their damage and healing output are reduced.
- Account for the zone’s healing as well as its damage: pushing into it without a plan can give Sombra’s allies sustain while exposing your team to harm.

Use those limits to think about her likely approach and escape direction rather than assuming she can instantly disappear or teleport any distance. Share sightings with your team and turn together when she appears or commits.
