To create a guild in Free Fire, open Guild from the home screen, choose Create Guild, configure the guild details, check the price shown in your game, and confirm. Garena’s support pages disagree about the diamond cost: one lists 1,000 diamonds and another lists 100. Both list 5,000 gold, so use your own in-game price display rather than assuming the diamond amount is universal.
Steps to create a Free Fire guild
- From the Free Fire home screen, open Guild.
- Select Create Guild.
- Set the guild’s name, insignia, region, style, approval method, and motto. These are the setup choices listed in Garena’s Portuguese creation guide.
- Choose how applications will work: Auto Approve admits applicants immediately; manual approval requires the Leader or Vice-Leader to approve each request. Garena describes both options in its Portuguese guide and Spanish guild support page.
- Review the creation cost displayed in your game and make sure you have enough of the listed currency.
- Review the guild information and confirm creation in the game.
How much does guild creation cost?
Garena’s regional support pages give different diamond prices. The Portuguese guide, modified February 19, 2024, lists 1,000 diamonds or 5,000 gold. The Spanish support page, updated March 6, 2025, lists 100 diamonds or 5,000 gold. The available pages do not explain whether the difference reflects a regional rule, an outdated figure, or an error.
| Garena support page | Listed cost | Page date |
|---|---|---|
| Portuguese: “Como criar Guilda” | 1,000 diamonds or 5,000 gold | Modified February 19, 2024 |
| Spanish: “Gremios / Clanes” | 100 diamonds or 5,000 gold | Updated March 6, 2025 |
Both pages list 5,000 gold, but neither settles what your server currently charges in diamonds. Treat the price displayed on your Guild creation screen as the amount to verify before confirming.
Which approval setting should you choose?
| Setting | What happens | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Auto Approve | Applicants can join immediately. | A guild prioritizing easy, fast entry. |
| Manual approval | The Leader or Vice-Leader reviews and approves each applicant. | A guild that wants more control over recruitment. |
Choosing the guild details
- Name and motto: Choose wording that makes the guild recognizable to the players you want to attract.
- Region and style: Set these to suit the community you intend to build. Garena lists them as setup fields; its guide does not claim that a particular choice gives a gameplay advantage.
- Insignia: Select an emblem that helps distinguish the guild.
What happens after the guild is created?
Guild features and rules can change with game updates, so check the current guild screens for the live mechanics. Garena’s OB42 patch notes, published October 30, 2023, described guild levels responding to activity points earned in the prior week, with weekly settlement at 4:00 AM every Monday. Those notes said members could earn points by playing matches with guildmates and completing daily missions; Guild Wars could add activity bonuses. They also described Guild Tokens redeemable in a Guild Store, with available items tied to guild level.

Later patch notes describe additional changes rather than guaranteeing that every feature remains unchanged in every server build. Garena’s February 19, 2025 patch notes covered a guild Gloo Wall perk, guild profile items, activity points for purchasing items with diamonds, leadership transfer when a guild leader leaves, and invitations to recently online players. Other official updates discussed activity points for teaming with more guildmates, Guild Wars participation days, Competitive and Casual tags, offline guild messages, faster search refreshes, and excluding full guilds from recommendations. Check the in-game interface for what is currently available to you.
Account and privacy notes
Garena describes Free Fire as a mobile-only battle royale game; creating a guild is an in-game process and does not require a physical accessory or off-platform service. Garena also advises players, especially minors, not to share identifying information or passwords in chat. See its Free Fire FAQ.
