There is no official Rockstar download for a GTA 5 mod menu on Xbox 360, and no current third-party file is verified here as safe or compatible. More importantly, Rockstar ended GTA Online services for Xbox 360 on December 16, 2021. Story Mode was not affected, but a menu cannot restore Rockstar’s discontinued online service.
Can you download an official GTA 5 Xbox 360 mod menu?
No official Rockstar mod-menu download source is identified. A third-party video uploaded by Im HaxoTV on August 7, 2015 advertises a menu and claims it requires a JTAG or RGH-modified Xbox 360. That is a dated creator claim—not evidence that a download is still available, safe, or compatible with a current setup.

Because no current file or compatibility claim is verified, this article does not point to a download host or recommend installing a menu. Treat old videos and links cautiously; their existence does not establish that a file is genuine or safe.

No. Rockstar ended GTA Online services for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on December 16, 2021, including Rockstar website stat tracking. Rockstar’s FAQ states: “GTAV Story Mode for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 not impacted.” That means the shutdown affected the online service, not the console versions’ Story Mode. An unofficial menu or server should not be described as restoring Rockstar’s discontinued Xbox 360 GTA Online.

What does the Xbox 360 game installation require?
Rockstar’s installation instructions describe the retail game, not a mod menu. GTA V shipped on two discs: use Disc 1 for the mandatory one-time installation and Disc 2 to play. The installation requires an Xbox 360 hard drive or an external 16 GB USB flash drive with at least 8 GB free. A USB drive must be USB 2.0, support read speeds of at least 15 MB/s, and be formatted for Xbox 360. Rockstar recommends installing only the Install Disc for optimal performance.
Those storage specifications do not describe how to install a mod menu or confirm that one will work.

What risks does Rockstar document for online modding?
Rockstar says modding online games, exploiting or abusing online mechanics, promoting online modding, manipulating protected game data, and interfering with other players can violate its Terms of Service. Its policy says an account can be suspended or banned for online modding or abuse. The suspension policy, updated February 24, 2026, says enforcement may include a temporary suspension or permanent ban; progress, property, inventory, or virtual currency may be reset or become inaccessible. These are possible outcomes described by Rockstar, not a prediction of what will happen to any particular account.
Does the Xbox 360 Store closure stop you from playing GTA V?
Microsoft stopped new purchases from the Xbox 360 Store and Marketplace on July 29, 2024. Previously purchased Xbox 360 games and DLC remain playable and can be re-downloaded. As Microsoft notes, “This change will not affect your ability to play Xbox 360 games or DLC you have already purchased.”
