Download FC 26 on Windows
The Windows edition requires an EA Account and the EA app, even when you purchase the game through Steam or Epic Games Store. Choose the storefront based on where you want to buy and manage the game, but do not expect Steam or Epic to remove EA’s account and launcher requirements.

- Install the official EA app for Windows from EA’s own website.
- Sign in with the EA Account you want to use for FC 26.
- Open the EA app and search for EA SPORTS FC 26.
- Open the correct PC product page and purchase or redeem the edition you own.
- Go to Library, select FC 26, and choose Download.
- Choose the installation location, confirm the download, and allow the EA app to complete installation.
Purchased EA games are added to the account library. The EA app for Windows supports 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems. Keep the launcher installed because FC 26 uses it for authentication and, where applicable, background operation.

Option 2: Steam
- Open Steam and search for EA SPORTS FC 26.
- Buy the Windows PC edition from the official game listing.
- Install the game from your Steam Library.
- When prompted, sign in to or create an EA Account and link it to Steam.
- Allow the EA app to install and remain available in the background.
The Steam listing identifies FC 26 as a Windows PC game, but it also requires EA online activation, installation of the EA app, and background use of that app.
Option 3: Epic Games Store
- Open the Epic Games Launcher and find EA SPORTS FC 26 Standard Edition or the applicable PC edition.
- Complete the purchase through Epic Games.

Reserve more than the stated 100 GB where possible so Windows, launcher updates, shader files, and future game updates have working space. Update Windows and your graphics driver before troubleshooting launch or performance problems.

How to download FC Mobile 26 on Android
- Open Google Play on your Android device.
- Search for EA SPORTS FC Soccer Mobile 26.
- Confirm that Electronic Arts is the publisher.
- Tap Install, then open the app after the download finishes.
- Complete the game’s sign-in, download, and permission prompts.
The official mobile listing describes a free-to-download online soccer game with advertisements, optional in-app purchases, licensed players and clubs, competitions, and multiplayer features. It is a mobile product with its own content and controls, not a direct Windows PC client. An internet connection is required, and mobile app requirements and availability can change by device, country, and store listing.

How to download FC Mobile 26 on iPhone or iPad
- Open the Apple App Store.
- Search for EA SPORTS FC Soccer Mobile 26.
- Check that Electronic Arts is shown as the developer.
- Tap Get and authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple Account password if requested.
- Open the app and complete its initial online setup.
The US App Store listing retrieved for this guide states that the game is free with in-app purchases and requires iOS 13.0 or later. Apple listing metadata can change, so check the current compatibility line on the App Store page before installing. The mobile version includes advertisements and optional purchases and should not be described as the full PC or console FC 26 release.
Do not confuse FC Mobile with the Companion App
The FC 26 Companion App is for Ultimate Team administration. It is the mobile counterpart to EA’s Web App and lets you manage aspects of a team away from the main game. It is not the FC 26 match engine and cannot be used to play the full PC game on an Android or Apple device.
EA’s official guide gave September 18, 2025 as the FC 26 Companion App availability date. To manage Ultimate Team, install the Companion App or use the Web App with the EA Account associated with FC 26. To play soccer matches on a phone, install EA SPORTS FC Soccer Mobile 26 instead.
Safety: avoid fake FC 26 downloads
Use only the EA app, Steam, Epic Games Store, Google Play, or the Apple App Store. Do not download a purported “free full FC 26 Windows installer” from an APK mirror, torrent, cracked-software site, unauthorized key seller, or file-sharing page.

What to do if FC 26 will not install or launch on Windows

- Run the launchers normally. Keep the EA app installed and signed in. Temporarily check whether security software or a firewall is blocking the launcher, but restore protection and use an exception only when you understand what is being allowed.
- Use EA’s current troubleshooting guidance. Launcher procedures and known issues change over time, so prefer EA support instructions over random “fix” downloads.
Optional driver or Windows-repair utilities are not part of EA SPORTS FC 26’s requirements and cannot guarantee higher FPS or a successful launch. Keyboard controls work, but EA’s PC documentation describes enhanced support for DualShock 4 and DualSense controllers. USB-connected DualShock 4 controllers support vibration, while a USB-connected DualSense can support haptics and adaptive triggers where the game and connection support them. A controller is optional; it is not required to download or install FC 26.
