Google Play’s data-safety panel reports that the developer declares no data collected and no data shared with third parties; that is a store declaration, not an independent audit.
What you get in the Android game
Slay the Spire is a single-player deckbuilder combining card play and roguelike progression. Mega Crit’s press kit lists Android as a platform and describes four core characters, 300+ implemented cards, 50+ combat encounters, 100+ items, procedurally generated levels, and unlockables. These are developer-provided factsheet figures, not independently verified counts. The press kit gives the original release date as November 15, 2017.

Make sure you are not looking for Slay the Spire 2
Slay the Spire 2 is a separate game. Mega Crit describes it as being in Early Access for PC, macOS, and Linux, and says mobile and console versions likely will not arrive until after Early Access. The Android Play listing above is for the original game.
Updates and help with problems
The Google Play listing showed an update date of July 20, 2026. Its update notes mention a fix for a crash caused by a stray combat action in a non-combat room, fixes for infrequent crashes associated with internal logging, Chrome-device scrolling issues, memory-management updates intended to improve loading and battery life, and a splash-image update for the new publisher. These are the listing’s notes, not independent performance test results.

For mobile-port problems, use the support contact currently displayed on the Google Play listing; it names Balor Games and lists [email protected]. Mega Crit’s FAQ likewise directs mobile and console bug reports to Balor. Mega Crit says no additional content updates are currently planned for the original game; that is separate from the support route for issues with the existing mobile port.

Mega Crit’s official merchandise page lists a Slay the Spire board game by Contention Games. It is a separate physical tabletop product, not another way to install the Android app. The Google Play listing is the relevant choice if you want to play digitally on an Android device.
