There is no currently verified, permanent free-Diamond route published for Version 5.0. To find legitimate opportunities, open Crossfire: Legends and check the live Event Calendar and mission panels for an active event that explicitly lists Diamonds, its dates, eligibility requirements, and a claim button. The official store listing identifies the game as Version 5.0 and says the calendar covers current and upcoming featured activities, but it does not publish a current Diamond reward table.
Past official promotions prove that free Diamonds have been offered, but they are not standing rewards. A 1,000-Diamond login promotion followed the March 3, 2026 Version 2.0 update, and a 2025 pre-registration milestone offered 1,999 Diamonds. Both promotions have ended, so neither should be presented as claimable today.

What you can claim for free right now
The most accurate answer depends on what your own Version 5.0 client currently displays. The official Google Play listing, updated September 14, 2026, describes an Event Calendar for browsing current and upcoming featured gameplay and events. It does not give a task-by-task Diamond schedule, fixed amount, or universal mission list.

- the exact activity or mission you must complete;
- the Diamond amount, if Diamonds are actually offered;
- eligibility conditions such as account, server, or participation requirements;
- whether the reward is automatic or requires a separate claim action; and
- the deadline for collecting it.
If the current panels do not show a Diamond reward, official sources reviewed for this guide do not establish another repeatable, no-cost method. Do not fill that gap with claims about daily logins, ranked matches, referrals, achievements, or a fixed weekly allowance unless your client explicitly lists one.
How to check the live Event Calendar and missions
Use this procedure whenever you want to look for free Diamonds. Menu placement can differ by device, region, or update, so use the labels shown by your own client rather than relying on an old screenshot.
- Update the official game client. Install the current update offered through your normal app store. A reward attached to one version may not appear in an older client.
- Sign in to the account you intend to use. Event eligibility and completed missions are normally tied to the account and game environment shown on screen. Do not assume that progress on another account transfers.
- Open Event Calendar. From the game’s home interface, select the panel labeled Event Calendar or its current equivalent. The store listing identifies this feature as the place to browse current and upcoming featured activities.
- Inspect every event card for currency wording. Open the detail page for an event and look for “Diamonds” in the rewards area. A featured event is not automatically a Diamond event.
- Read the dates before doing any task. Record the displayed start and end time, including the time zone if the client provides one. A task completed after the closing time may not qualify, even if the event remains visible temporarily.
- Check the mission panels separately. Look for the game’s current missions, tasks, or objectives interface. Compare its requirements with the Event Calendar entry; one panel may describe the activity while another records completion or the claim button.
- Open the rules and eligibility text. Check level, server, account-age, participation, mode, or one-time limits exactly as written. If the screen does not state a requirement, do not invent one.
- Complete only the listed objectives. Follow the event’s wording precisely. If it requires a particular mode, number of matches, or action, playing a different activity may not advance the counter.
- Return to the reward page after completion. Confirm that the task status changed to complete. If a Claim, Receive, or similarly labelled control appears, select it before the deadline.
- Verify the balance. Check the Diamond total in the account interface after claiming. Keep a screenshot of the event page, completed status, and updated balance if the game provides no claim history.
What to record before you start
A short record prevents confusion when several events run at once. Write down the event title, displayed dates, required activity, Diamond amount, eligibility text, and whether the reward is automatic or manual. This also lets you distinguish an active promotion from an old announcement that remains searchable on the web.
How to handle a reward with several stages
If an event shows milestones, treat each milestone independently. Confirm which stage is currently unlocked, what action advances it, and whether the Diamond reward is issued immediately or only after a separate claim. Do not assume that reaching a community or cumulative milestone grants every earlier reward automatically unless the rules say so.
Current Version 5.0 evidence and its limits
The current store information identifies Crossfire: Legends as the official mobile adaptation of Crossfire and lists Version 5.0. It highlights the Event Calendar but does not publish a live Diamond mission table. That omission matters: a calendar feature confirms where events are surfaced, not that a specific event is running or that every player receives the same reward.

Amounts, tasks, and eligibility can change by promotion, account, region, and date. Therefore, the only defensible current answer is conditional: claim Diamonds without paying when the active in-game event or mission screen explicitly offers them and you satisfy its displayed requirements. If your screen shows no such offer, there is no verified amount to promise.
Why search results can be misleading
Older announcements can continue to appear in search results after their claim windows close. A headline that says “free Diamonds” may describe a launch, update, invitation, or pre-registration promotion from a previous year. Check the publication date, event dates, and the current client before treating any amount as available.

Two official examples show the kinds of promotion that have awarded Diamonds. They are included to explain what a legitimate offer looks like and to prevent you from mistaking an expired campaign for a current route.
1,000 Diamonds after the Version 2.0 update
The official Crossfire: Legends Version 2.0 patch note, published March 2, 2026, attached a 1,000-Diamond reward to logging in after the March 3, 2026 update. The wording establishes a dated update promotion, not a daily login allowance or a permanent compensation system.
That claim window should be treated as historical. Unless your current in-game notice independently presents the same reward with a valid deadline, do not expect a login today to produce 1,000 Diamonds.

1,999 Diamonds at the 2025 pre-registration milestone
The official pre-registration and invitation event page listed 1,999 Diamonds as a Phase 1 community-milestone reward during the event running July 4 through October 4, 2025. Those dates ended, so the milestone is not a current earning method.
The event rules stated: “If any event rules are changed, the latest updates on the official website will apply.” In context, that sentence governed that 2025 promotion. It does not guarantee the same reward, amount, or rules for Version 5.0 events.
What these examples actually demonstrate
- Free Diamonds have been distributed through official, time-limited promotions.
- A reward may be connected to a login, update, registration, invitation, or community milestone rather than ordinary match play.
- The amount and eligibility are promotion-specific.
- Publication dates and closing dates determine whether an offer can still be claimed.
How to tell whether an offer is legitimate
Use the following checks before spending time on a purported Diamond opportunity:
- It appears in the official client. The Event Calendar or mission interface should show the activity and reward, not merely a social-media claim.
- The dates are visible. A legitimate event should identify when participation and claiming are allowed.
- The reward is named precisely. “Items,” “bonus,” or “currency” is not proof that the reward is Diamonds.
- The task is measurable. You should be able to see a requirement and a completion state in the game.
- The claim mechanism is clear. The screen should explain whether the reward arrives automatically or needs a Claim control.
- The official site agrees when a web promotion is involved. Use the game’s official website and the current in-game notice, not a copied page with a different domain.
If an offer asks for a password, authentication code, payment to “unlock” a reward, or installation of an unrelated program, it is not an official free-Diamond route supported by the game’s published information. Close it and use the in-game calendar instead.
Troubleshooting when Diamonds do not appear
The event is visible, but the mission counter does not move
Re-read the objective for mode, map, match type, or completion wording. Then return to the mission panel after the activity finishes and allow the client to synchronize. If the counter still does not change, capture the event title, requirement, date, and result screen before contacting the game’s published support channel. Do not repeat unrelated matches on the assumption that all gameplay counts.

The task says complete, but there is no reward
Look for a separate claim stage and check whether the event has already ended. Some promotions can leave a completed card visible while disabling claims after the deadline. Confirm that the account and server shown in the event details match the one on which you completed the task.
The event appears for another player but not for you
Compare client version, region, server, account, and event dates. A promotion can be limited by any of those fields. The absence of an event on your screen means you should not assume eligibility from another player’s screenshot.
The web page and the game show different rules
Use the newest official notice and the live in-game panel, paying attention to the applicable region and dates. Event wording can be revised; the 2025 invitation rules specifically directed players to the latest official website updates for changes to that event.
The reward amount is not stated
Do not estimate it from an older campaign. If the current interface does not display a Diamond amount, the amount is unverified and should not be treated as guaranteed.

What not to count as a free-Diamond method
There is no official evidence in the reviewed Version 5.0 material for third-party Diamond generators, modified clients, account-sharing schemes, referral payouts, or a universal daily Diamond grant. Such claims are not substitutes for an in-game event listing. They can also expose login details or personal information without providing a legitimate reward.

Likewise, accessories such as controllers, coolers, or finger sleeves may affect comfort, but they do not create Diamonds. The currency is awarded by the game’s account and promotion systems, not by hardware.
A repeatable, no-spend checking routine
When you launch the game
Open the Event Calendar and note newly added events, closing dates, and any Diamond amount. Then check the mission panel for objectives linked to those events. This is a verification routine, not a promise that the game will offer Diamonds every day.
Before completing a long objective
Confirm that the event is still open, your account meets the eligibility text, and the required activity is clearly identified. Save the reward details so you can prove what the client displayed if the event changes before you claim.

Refresh the mission status, claim the reward if a button is available, and verify the balance. If no claim is possible, record the exact message and deadline rather than relying on memory.
When a new update arrives
Read the official update notice and then inspect the in-game calendar. The March 2026 example shows why this matters: the 1,000-Diamond offer was tied to a particular Version 2.0 update and login period, not to an ongoing rule. A new version can introduce a different promotion or none at all.
Decision checklist
Use this quick test before believing that you can earn Diamonds without paying:
- Is the offer visible in your current Crossfire: Legends client?
- Does the panel name Diamonds and show an exact amount?
- Are start and end dates still valid?
- Does the eligibility text apply to your account, region, and server?
- Can you see the required mission and its completion status?
- Is the claim action or automatic-delivery rule stated?
- Have you verified the balance after completion?
If any answer is “no,” treat the offer as unverified rather than guaranteed. The official Version 5.0 listing confirms the calendar as the place to look, while the exact active routes must come from the live event and mission screens.
