Give Swirlix a Whipped Dream to hold, then trade it to another player. The trade evolves it into Slurpuff.
What Swirlix needs to evolve
Swirlix evolves into Slurpuff when it is traded while holding a Whipped Dream. The item alone does not trigger the evolution; the trade is part of the requirement. Gamer Guides and VGC describe this method.
How to get Whipped Dream
Complete Side Mission 014, “Slurpuff’s Café,” to obtain Whipped Dream. Gamer Guides and VGC identify the mission as a way to get the item; VGC describes it as a guaranteed reward. Gamer Guides · VGC
Trade Swirlix to evolve it
- Give Whipped Dream to Swirlix to hold.
- Trade Swirlix to another player. It evolves into Slurpuff during the trade.
- If you want to keep Slurpuff, ask the other player to trade it back to you.
Arrange the return trade with the other player beforehand if you want Slurpuff back. Gamer Guides and Dexerto describe a return trade as an option.
