Funcom confirms that missions award Solari and that Contracts provide rewards, but its public guidance does not establish a best Solari-per-hour activity or a universally profitable item. Your results depend on what you can complete and what players on your server want to buy.
Complete Contracts from Tradepost boards
Contracts are available mainly from Contract Boards inside Tradeposts. Funcom says you can track one Contract alongside one Journey, and that a completed Contract’s reward is placed in your inventory automatically. Its support guidance does not publish a payout table or identify the highest-paying Contract. Funcom’s Journeys and Contracts guide describes how to find and manage them.

To make Contracts part of a practical routine, choose an available objective that fits your current location or plans and combine it with nearby tasks where possible. This is a way to limit avoidable travel, not a claim that any particular route or Contract pays best. If a Contract gets stuck, Funcom says you can abandon it and pick it up again.
Complete missions for Solari and progression
Funcom says missions award Solari credits, experience, and faction contribution points for Atreides or Harkonnen. Mission rewards can therefore advance character and faction progression while adding currency. The official announcement does not quantify the Solari reward or establish which missions are repeatable or most efficient, so check the mission’s availability and displayed reward in your current game version. Funcom’s announcement of missions and their rewards describes the reward types.

Sell surplus through the Exchange
The Exchange is a player-driven marketplace with terminals in Arrakeen and Harko Village. You list items in person, and the items must be in your inventory. You can browse and track orders; listings may include items from different tiers, including uniques. Whether a listing earns Solari depends on buyer demand and the price other players are offering, so selling is not guaranteed income.
Account for the listing costs
Funcom Help Center’s Exchange page, surfaced as updated five days before October 8, 2026, documents a daily listing fee of 20 Solaris, a price fee of 2% on the first day, and 1% on subsequent days. The page also states a maximum of 20 offers and says completed offers expire after 30 days if unclaimed. These are documented rules, not a promise that an item will sell; check the current in-game Exchange and live help page in case a patch has changed them. Funcom’s Exchange guide covers its fees and offer rules.

Choose listings with demand in mind
Before listing, compare similar offers and consider whether the likely sale price can cover the listing costs. Selling items already in surplus can turn goods you do not need into a chance to earn Solari without relying on a fixed farming route. No stable best-selling item, market price, or profit rate is established by the available official guidance; prices and demand can differ by server and change over time.
How to choose what to do next
There is no evidence-backed universal ranking of these methods by Solari per hour. Use the criteria that matter for your character and current circumstances:
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Reward certainty: Missions are confirmed to award Solari; Contracts reward players, but their payout amounts are not published in the cited guidance. An Exchange listing earns nothing unless a buyer completes it.
- Time and travel: Favor objectives you can fit into your current route rather than making an unnecessary trip for an unknown payout.
- Progression and difficulty: Missions also grant experience and faction contribution points. Consider whether the objective suits your current character and goals.
- Inventory and market costs: Exchange listings require items in your inventory and incur documented fees, while the chance of a sale depends on local demand.
Use community tactics as experiments, not guarantees
Players have discussed grouping nearby Contracts and tasks, completing Landsraad missions, and looting while doing other activities. These are anecdotes, not verified yield comparisons. You can test whether an idea works for your character and server, but community reports do not establish a reliable income rate or a best method.
