How Elastic Goods trading works
Elastic Goods are tradeable in-game items accessed through Stock Redistribution. Their prices fluctuate from day to day, and prices available on friends’ ships can differ from your local market. The practical approach is to compare current offers rather than rely on a remembered price chart.
The official tutorial recommends selling goods on a friend’s ship to seek a profit. That is a comparison strategy, not a promise that every trade will be profitable: whether a sale makes sense depends on the prices currently shown and the quantities you can buy and sell.
A repeatable Stock Bills farming routine
- Open Stock Redistribution. Review the Elastic Goods currently available and their local purchase prices.
- Compare before buying. Look across the available goods and choose only an item whose current price makes sense for your Stock Bill balance and available purchase capacity.
- Check friends’ ship prices. Use the friend-price display or visit a friend’s ship to compare current resale offers.
- Work out the trade at the quantities shown. Compare the current purchase and sale prices for the amount you can actually trade. Do not assume the displayed difference applies to unlimited quantities.
- Sell where the current offer is better. If no available offer makes the trade worthwhile to you, hold the goods and check prices again later.
What to compare before committing Stock Bills

Why there is no fixed best item or daily schedule
A static “best Elastic Goods” list can become outdated because prices move daily. Likewise, a good buying or selling day cannot be assumed in advance from the available official guidance. Check the live prices in your game whenever you trade, and judge each opportunity on its own terms.

The official tutorial does not establish a universal Stock Bill profit figure or guarantee. Earnings reported in community guides are examples, not a dependable forecast for every player, market, or trade.

Stock Redistribution terminal upgrades can expand which goods or purchasing privileges are available. Community references also describe purchase limits that vary by region and refresh over time, but exact unlock requirements, upgrade costs, and caps are version-sensitive and are not established as a complete current set here. Check your own terminal and region in the current game rather than planning around an unverified cap or upgrade table.
