At the Angler Pool in Abyssal Zenith, equip an Orca or The Kraken, feed one of the Anglers, then interact with the lantern on its head while it sleeps. The Fisch Wiki reports that an Angler sleeps for five minutes, but the others may still attack—so either move quickly or feed them too.
Where to find the Anglers
The Anglers and their lanterns are in the Angler Pool, in Abyssal Zenith—the third layer of Mariana’s Veil, according to the Fisch Wiki’s Anglers Lantern entry. Getting there involves progressing through earlier areas of Mariana’s Veil. A February 2025 route guide describes that progression, but its steps may have changed; check the route and requirements in your game rather than treating that older walkthrough as guaranteed current.

How to feed an Angler and collect its lantern
- Equip an Orca or The Kraken. These are the two fish named as feed options by the Fisch Wiki and Pro Game Guides. The sources do not identify an advantage for either one, so use whichever you have available.
- Approach one of the three Anglers. Swim close enough for the game’s interaction prompt to appear.
- Feed it using the prompt. A February 2025 guide describes pressing and holding E, but controls may vary by platform or change with updates. Follow the prompt shown in your game if it differs.
- Interact with the lantern on its head. Once the Angler falls asleep, swim to the lantern and use the displayed interaction to collect it. The February 2025 guide says to hold the interaction while close to the lantern.
Should you feed one Angler or all three?
Feeding just one is the quicker option, but the other Anglers may remain active and attack while you collect the lantern. The wiki reports a five-minute sleep window for the fed Angler; that is the wiki’s stated in-game duration, not an independently verified timer. If you prefer not to rush, feed the other two Anglers before collecting. That approach uses more feed fish, but leaves fewer active threats, according to the Fisch Wiki and Pro Game Guides.

What the lantern is used for
The Fisch Wiki lists the Anglers Lantern as an ingredient for Glimmerfin Suit Tier 3 and the Submarine Deep Upgrade. It also says that the submarine upgrade opens the Calm Zone. These are uses recorded by an unofficial fan wiki, rather than confirmed here by official developer documentation.
