The server does not send its seed to ordinary clients, so there is no standard in-game screen or client-side command for a guest to check it. Ask the server owner or an operator to share it or retrieve it through authorized server access.
Why you cannot see a Java server’s seed as a regular player
Java Edition’s /seed command displays a world’s seed, but on a multiplayer server it requires permission level 2. That is an operator-level permission. The Minecraft Wiki’s seed reference also says multiplayer servers no longer send the seed to clients, so inspecting your ordinary client does not reveal it. How to get the seed through authorized access
If you need the exact seed, ask the server owner or an operator to run /seed or provide it to you. If you own or administer a self-hosted server, the console or world save data are owner-side places to check; a community forum answer describes these routes, though it is not official Minecraft documentation. Bedrock Edition and Realms work differently
Bedrock multiplayer worlds
For Bedrock Edition, the seed can be found in the world options screen by someone with access to that world’s settings. That is an owner or settings-access route, not a method for a regular guest to query a remote server. The Minecraft Wiki notes that edition-specific seed access differs, so Java’s /seed instructions should not be applied to Bedrock. Minecraft Wiki: Seed (world generation)

Realms
On Bedrock Realms, the seed is not visible while playing on the Realm; the Realm owner can download a local copy of the world and inspect that copy. On Java Realms, /seed remains subject to multiplayer permission requirements. Realm menus and procedures can change between game versions. What level-seed does—and does not do
Minecraft’s Java server setup documentation describes level-seed as a setting used to specify a seed when generating a world. It is a setup configuration, not a public lookup field that lets a guest discover the actual seed of an existing world. For a live world, use an authorized owner or operator route. Can a seed-finder tool recover it?
Terrain-based reconstruction tools should not be treated as a reliable substitute for permission: their reliability across Minecraft versions and server configurations is not established here. If you need the exact seed, request it from someone with authorized access.
