To complete Novigrad Dreaming, find Corinne Tilly in the haunted house southeast of Hierarch Square, follow her clues from the attic crib to the cellar oven, then decide whether Sarah the godling can stay. Either choice frees Corinne; letting Sarah stay also opens the optional Haunted House quest.
Find Corinne Tilly in the haunted house
This main quest follows Geralt’s Novigrad investigation for information about Ciri. Triss directs him to the oneiromancer Corinne Tilly, who is staying in a house owned by Rudolf de Jonkheer. The house is southeast of Hierarch Square; another way to locate it is to follow the canal from the Brandon Granary. See the walkthroughs from Gamer Guides and Prima Games.
- Speak with Rudolf outside the house and go in.
- Head upstairs to find Corinne asleep and caught in a nightmare.
Follow the attic clues to the cellar
The clues lead from the attic to a small room beside Corinne’s bedroom, then down to the cellar. The sequence is the same whichever way you later resolve the haunting.
- In the adjacent room, climb the ladder to the attic.
- Use Aard to clear the blocked doorway into the storage room. Pick up the Rag Doll and the Drawing of a Crib.
- Return to Corinne’s bedroom and enter the small side room. Place the Rag Doll in the crib.
- When the door closes and an oven drawing appears, go downstairs and locate the cellar trapdoor.
- Climb down and examine the oven to meet Sarah, the godling behind the haunting.
Sarah has been frightening people away from the house and keeping Corinne trapped in a nightmare. At the oven, choose whether to make a deal with her or drive her out.

Choose whether Sarah stays or leaves

Burdock cannot be picked in the wild, according to Prima Games; buy it from a herb merchant if you need it. Gamer Guides reports a bundle price of 11 Crowns, but that is a guide-specific in-game value, not a guaranteed price across editions or game states. Check the merchant’s current offer.
Meet Corinne at the Golden Sturgeon
After settling the haunting, speak to Corinne, then meet her in her room upstairs at the Golden Sturgeon. Questions about Geralt’s memories and Ciri’s abilities do not change the quest outcome. Corinne’s dream shows a poet with a swallow: it points Geralt toward Dandelion and the Rosemary and Thyme, leading into the next Novigrad main quest, Broken Flowers.

What the choice changes—and what it does not
Both routes wake Corinne and continue the main story. The meaningful difference is whether Sarah remains in the house and whether the optional Haunted House quest becomes available; only the expulsion route requires Burdock and Igni if you lack the ingredient. Walkthroughs describe Sarah’s later appearances differently, so her later destination is not a reliable reason to choose one route over the other.
