To take it on, bring a weapon and ammunition that fit your plan, prepare for a dangerous fight in an exposed monument, and decide how you will recover the loot before you engage. Current official sources do not establish a universal number of rockets or explosives required to destroy Bradley, so treat old kill-count recipes as potentially outdated.
Where to find Bradley
In a standard Rust session, Bradley patrols Launch Site. Facepunch developer Helk introduced it with the description, “The APC is in! You’ll find it patrolling the launch site.” Facepunch’s Devblog 174 is the official source for that location.
Launch Site is also a contested monument, so encountering Bradley does not mean the area is clear of other players. There is no verified, reliable external spawn indicator established by the official sources cited here; plan to locate the vehicle in-game and stay alert to other players.
Standard patrol versus a road event

Bradley is a hazardous encounter, and Launch Site can expose you to other players at the same time. Choose your weapon and ammunition, supplies, and approach based on your group, server, and own plan; set an exit route and a way to recover the loot before starting the fight. No official source cited here establishes a safe route, a guaranteed clear window, or a universally best weapon.
Rust’s official wiki documents the Rocket Launcher and its compatible rocket ammunition. That confirms these are in-game options, not a current recipe for killing Bradley. Official current sources cited here do not establish a universal rocket or C4 count, Bradley health, damage multipliers, or a standard ammunition recipe. Avoid relying on old figures as if they were guaranteed for the current patch.

Defeating Bradley and securing the crates
Engage only when you are equipped to follow through and can manage the risk from both the APC and other players. Use the cover and timing available in your situation, keep track of supplies, and be prepared to disengage if the fight becomes unsafe. These are tactical considerations, not a documented safe method or a guarantee of success.
Once Bradley is defeated, account for the time and exposure involved in reaching and recovering its crates. The official sources cited here do not establish a current crate-fire duration or respawn interval, so do not base a recovery plan on a fixed timer.
What Bradley can drop
Bradley Crates have a varied, probabilistic loot table; no individual reward is guaranteed. Facepunch’s Bradley Crate page, accessed in 2026, listed MLRS Rockets at 100.0%, a Targeting Computer at 52.4%, and the 8x Zoom Scope, Burst Module, and Extended Magazine at 50.0% each. These are page-listed chances, not promises for a particular kill, and loot tables can change with patches.
The table also includes other possible rewards, such as weapon attachments, ammunition, and weapons. Check the current crate page for the full list rather than planning around one expected item.

Bradley respawns and admin commands
Facepunch lists bradley.quickrespawn as an administrative command for respawning the Launch Site APC in its server command documentation. It is an admin function, not an ordinary player tactic or a way for players to summon Bradley on a public server. The cited official sources do not establish a universal automatic respawn interval.
