In Schedule 1, you can get the Sewer Key in three reported ways: buy it from Jen Heard in Uptown, follow Oscar’s hint to an NPC carrying it, or search for its randomized world spawn. Use the key at a sewer entrance, then enter 1111 at the Maintenance Office keypad deeper in the tunnels. These mechanics come from player guides and may change as the Early Access game is updated.
Choose how to get the Sewer Key
The available routes differ in cost, progression, and how much searching or risk they involve. The purchase route is the most direct once its requirements are met; the other two avoid paying Jen but are less predictable.

Buy it from Jen Heard
Jen is reported to be in Uptown, east of Hyland Medical. The guides say she sells the key for $1,000, but you need Uptown unlocked and friendly satisfaction with her before this option is available. This is the clearest route if you have the required access and cash.

Follow Oscar’s hint to the carrier
Oscar is reported to be at the Warehouse. Ask him for a hint about the NPC carrying the Sewer Key, then find that person. The guides say you can pickpocket the carrier or knock them out and loot them; the latter can involve a confrontation.

Search for the randomized spawn
The key is also reported to spawn at a randomized location in the open world. One guide describes roughly 50 possible locations and says Northtown, Downtown, and the graveyard are areas where it is often found. Oscar may provide a zone hint for this route as well. Treat those location details as guide-reported pointers, not a guaranteed map or fixed spawn.

Carry the Sewer Key to an entrance and use it there to access the tunnels. The Maintenance Office is not the entrance itself; it is a separate locked door farther inside.
Open the Maintenance Office
At the Maintenance Office keypad, enter 1111. The guides identify the visibly worn “1” button as the clue to the code. The Sewer Key gets you into the sewer; the keypad code is a separate step for opening this room.

What may be inside
Guides describe the Maintenance Office as containing storage, a bed, and loose crafting materials on a table. They also report a hostile Sewer King in the room and a Sewer Goblin encounter in the tunnels. These encounters and contents may vary with updates, so do not assume every detail is guaranteed in your current build.
