This guide covers Archdemon Louis Charadrius, the late-game boss—not either earlier Louis Guiabern fight or the separate Destroyer Charadrius battle that follows. Archdemon Louis has no reported innate weakness or resistance, so bring dependable damage, protect the party from attacks that exploit its weaknesses, and save burst damage to interrupt Anxiety Explosion.
Identify which Louis you are fighting
Louis appears in multiple encounters, and the tactics differ. The main strategy below is for Archdemon Louis Charadrius in the Finale.

- Earlier Louis Guiabern fight: This version uses moves including Soul Cry, Royal Slash, and Royal Coercion. Its move list is not Archdemon Louis’s. Neoseeker’s Louis Boss Fight Guide covers this encounter.

How to beat Archdemon Louis
Use reliable damage instead of searching for a weakness
Gamer Guides reports that Archdemon Louis has no weakness or resistance. Use the party’s strongest dependable attacks; do not spend turns testing elements in the hope of finding a built-in weakness. Creating a weakness with Junah or pursuing critical hits are possible approaches, not requirements.
Reduce the danger of his opening attacks
Louis can open with Quadwing Sweep, which targets a row, or Quadwing Pierce and Octowing Crush, which hit the whole party. A weakness hit can give him additional turn icons, so, where your available builds allow it, avoid carrying exploitable elemental weaknesses. Plan for group attacks with suitable defenses or evasion.

Gamer Guides describes Royal Knight as an option for repelling non-Almighty attacks and Royal Thief as useful for evading area attacks. These are tactics, not mandatory party slots. Choose a setup that can survive his opening pressure while still dealing enough damage to handle the next phase.
Interrupt Anxiety Explosion at about half health
At roughly half health, Louis enters the second phase and uses Anxiety Convergence: he takes a defensive stance and charges an attack. Deal enough damage during the available full turn to break his shield. Success interrupts the charge and prevents Anxiety Explosion, which otherwise deals repeated Almighty damage to the party.
There is no universal damage threshold established for this check. If your party struggles to break the shield, reserve burst attacks and buffs for the charge rather than spending them earlier.

Account for his debuffs and healing
In the second half, Louis begins using Dekunda to clear his debuffs and Deimahan to heal himself. The guide describes the healing as minor relative to the fight. Debuffs can still be useful, but consider whether their value is worth the action if Louis is likely to remove them.

The GameFAQs Finale walkthrough says optional Tyrant Star crystals and their sub-bosses weaken the final-boss sequence. If the crystals remain, it describes the later final boss as having higher stats, more turns, and turn-removal moves. Clearing the optional routes is therefore useful preparation if you can manage them. The walkthrough also describes returning to the runner to restore resources.
This preparation affects the final-boss sequence overall; it is separate from Archdemon Louis’s Anxiety Convergence mechanic. For a party plan, prioritize the capabilities your team lacks rather than treating any one build as mandatory:

- Survival: Can the party withstand row and full-party attacks without giving Louis extra turns through weaknesses?
- Defense or evasion: Can a role such as Royal Knight or Royal Thief reduce the danger of those attacks?
- Burst: Can you save enough damage and buffs to break the shield during Anxiety Convergence?
- Sustained damage: Can you keep pressure on Louis after he starts clearing debuffs?
- Resources: Can you reach the fight with enough supplies and ability uses for both the opening and the charge check?
The GameFAQs author recommends a party of Prince, Royal Berserker, Royal Thief, and Warlord, with Royal Thief helping evade area attacks and remove enemy turns. Treat that as one workable recommendation, not a universal best team; compare it against your own survival, burst-damage, and resource needs.

What happens after Archdemon Louis
After intervening story scenes, the game moves to the separate Destroyer Charadrius battle. The GameFAQs guide describes a first form with three masks; defeating them leads to a second form. Its mechanics and preparation differ from Archdemon Louis’s, so do not carry over the Louis move list as if the encounters were one continuous fight.
