Accept Bard’s lost-guitar quest in Stonewake’s Cross, then search the cave route for a concealed opening in the greenery. The guitar is in the hidden area near the Undead (skeleton) NPC. Return it to Bard to receive the Unknown Key, which guides identify as the key to Fallen Angel’s Cave and its Arcane Pickaxe progression.
Where do I find Bard and start the guitar quest?
Go to Stonewake’s Cross and speak with Bard, the region’s quest-giving NPC. Accept his lost-guitar quest before heading into the cave; the guitar is part of this quest rather than an item sitting openly on the main route.
Where do I find Bard’s guitar?
- Enter the cave and follow the route past the early NPC landmarks.
- Look for a concealed opening covered by greenery or moss. The exact landmark descriptions vary: guides describe leaves near the cave entrance or a mossy opening along the cave route. The useful cue is the hidden greenery opening, not a reliably established left/right turn or specific rock.
- Walk into the greenery to reach the hidden area. Search near the Undead or skeleton NPC; the guitar is described as lying on rocks to the NPC’s right.
- Interact with the guitar using the prompt shown in your game, then leave the hidden area and return to Bard.
Landmark wording differs among community guides, so use the early NPCs and concealed greenery as broad route cues. The available descriptions do not establish a single exact approach that applies to every player or game version.
How do I get the Unknown Key?
Return the guitar to Bard in Stonewake’s Cross and complete the quest turn-in. The reward is the Unknown Key. One community page suggests unequipping tools to collect the guitar, but that requirement is not consistently confirmed; follow the live interaction prompt if you cannot pick it up.
