Open the Epic Games Launcher, select Library, find the game, and choose Install. When the download finishes, select the game’s icon to launch it. Epic says its website is for browsing and purchasing; managing your Library and downloading games require the Launcher (Epic Games Store Support; viewing the Library on the website).
Find and install a claimed game in the Launcher

Open the Epic Games Launcher and select Library.

Find the game. Use the Library search if needed; it can match part of a title.

After the download completes, select the game’s icon to launch it.

If you cannot see a title you know you claimed, check the Library filters. The Installed filter shows only games already installed; turn it off to see other Library titles. Reset filters if necessary. The Store search finds store listings, while the Library is where you find claimed and purchased games for installation (installation instructions; searching the Library; Library access).
If a game is missing from your Library
First determine whether the problem is visibility—the game is available but hard to see—or access, where the entitlement may have changed or the game is not available for your system. Try the visibility checks before investigating access.

Check account and Library visibility

Confirm you are signed into the Epic account used to claim the game. If you originally signed in through an external service such as Google or Facebook, try that sign-in route again.

Check the Launcher setting that hides the Game Library.

Turn off the Installed-only filter, reset other filters, and refresh the Library view.

Restart the Launcher. If the title is still missing, clear the Launcher’s webcache and check the Library again.

Check whether you still have access

A refunded game is removed from the Library.

A game that does not support your operating system cannot be downloaded or launched on it.

Access to a limited-time beta or press build can end when its access period expires. That is different from claiming a game in a free promotion: Epic says previously claimed free games remain in the Library permanently.

If a retail code was reported as fraudulent, it may be revoked; Epic advises contacting the retailer.

If someone sent you a game as a gift, it will not appear in the sender’s own Library.
These distinctions matter: filters, a hidden Library, or a stale view can obscure a title, but they do not restore access after a refund, expired temporary build, or revoked code. See Epic’s missing Library games guidance and its explanation of why a game may be missing.
