The official game update places him beside Dr. Selina Tan’s TacSim area and says players can pet him—but it does not explain how to unlock or reach him.
Who is the Very Good Boy in 007 First Light?
He is Jack the Bulldog. IO Interactive’s official game update introduces him as a resident of MI6 HQ and says: “You can pet him.”
Where can you find Jack?
Look for Jack at MI6 HQ, right next to Dr. Selina Tan’s TacSim area. The update identifies that location, but does not give a navigation path, mission requirement, or timing for when he appears.
How do you unlock Jack the Bulldog?
The official update does not publish an unlock requirement. It confirms Jack’s presence in the updated game, but does not say that a wishlist milestone, mission, code, IOI Account, or particular edition unlocks him. There is therefore no verified step-by-step unlock procedure to follow.

IO Interactive’s FAQ explains how to redeem certain code-based rewards: redeem the code through an IOI Account, link the platform account that owns the game, launch the game online, then check Customization or TacSim. The FAQ does not identify Jack as one of those rewards, so those instructions should not be treated as his unlock method.
The US PlayStation Store listing says the community challenge uses wishlist milestones to unlock in-game and community rewards, but does not connect Jack to a specific milestone. Owning or buying the game is not established as a special requirement for him.
