What the Refiner can craft
If you have built the Refiner in Speranza, it can reduce the amount of searching needed for two items. GameSpot lists these recipes:
- Antiseptic: 10 Chemicals and 2 Great Mullein.
- Durable Cloth: 14 Fabric.
The guide says Syringes cannot be crafted, so you will need to find one. Crafting Antiseptic still requires Great Mullein, including the one needed for the quest.

Where medical loot containers may help
Medical Bags are commonly found in hospitals and pharmacies. The wiki lists Bandage, Herbal Bandage, Sterilized Bandage, Vita Shot, Defibrillator, Shield Recharger, Surge Shield Recharger, Adrenaline Shot, Durable Cloth, and Antiseptic among their possible contents. The wiki marks this loot data as unconfirmed, so treat the list as possibilities rather than guaranteed contents or quest-item drop rates. See the Medical Bag entry, last edited February 25, 2026.
How Prescriptions of the Past relates
Prescriptions of the Past is a separate Lance task at Spaceport’s Departure Building: visit the building, find the Medical Room, and search for records. It shares a location with the Spaceport portion of Medical Merchandise, but searching for records is a distinct objective from opening the required containers. If both quests are active, planning a visit to the Departure Building for both may reduce backtracking; the available quest listing does not establish that every step can be completed in one raid. PC Gamer’s quest list was updated May 1, 2026.

Plan your route around what you still need
- For quest supplies, start with a medical location that fits your current map and search for the specific missing items.
- If you have the Refiner, consider crafting Antiseptic or Durable Cloth instead of relying solely on loot searches.
- For Medical Merchandise, use the objective list to visit all three named destinations; the required container counts are 2, 3, and 2 respectively.
- For general healing loot, hospitals, pharmacies, and Medical Bags are useful leads, but the listed contents are not confirmed drops.
Quest details and loot distributions may change with patches; the cited guides are dated, not official developer documentation.
