Roblox’s official help pages reviewed here do not document a universal list of everyone you shared a server with. If you remember the person’s username, search for it and open their profile; otherwise, the options are limited to finding someone who is currently joinable or checking an opted-in contact match.
What you can do after leaving a Roblox experience
There is no universal recently-played-with history documented in Roblox’s official support material reviewed for this guide. Secondary guides make conflicting claims, so a limited or experimental feature on a particular account or device cannot be ruled out. Roblox’s support guidance instead points to search, profiles, joining players who are currently active, and optional contact matching. Roblox’s friend instructions explain the profile-based route.
Search by username
- Open Roblox search and enter the username you remember.
- Choose the People category in the results.
- Open the profile that matches. Check the username carefully: display names may not uniquely identify an account.
- Select Add Friend if you want to send a request. The other person can accept or decline.
This is the most direct route when you know enough to identify the right account. If you cannot identify the player, Roblox’s documented tools do not provide a guaranteed way to reconstruct the server roster you left.

How to rejoin someone who is playing now
If you know the account and the person is currently in an experience, their profile or search result may offer Join Experience. Select it only if available. Roblox says joining depends on the experience allowing it and your having permission. If the option is missing, the person may not be joinable under their settings or the experience’s rules. This does not provide a way to look up players from a session that has ended.

Use Contact Importer only for people you know
If the player is someone you know in real life, you can check whether they are discoverable through your device contacts. In Roblox, go to Add Friends > Connect with Friends. Contact matching is optional and depends on the other person opting into discoverability. You control whether to send an invite, and recipients can accept or decline. Only connect or share invites with people you trust.
Why a player or join option may not appear
Roblox’s Online Status and Show current experience settings determine who can see whether someone is online and what they are playing. To review your own settings, use Settings > Privacy & content restrictions > Visibility & private servers > Visibility, then adjust Online Status or Show current experience. The available audience choices vary by age and region. If another player’s settings hide their status from you, you may not see them as online or see their current experience; that still does not reveal their past sessions. Age and region can also affect communication and trusted-friend features. Roblox says trusted-friend availability varies by country and age estimation is required, with some teen-to-adult connection methods restricted. These rules may affect ways to maintain contact after you have identified someone; they are not a way to recover a lost player list. See Roblox’s Trusted Connections guidance.
