Roblox does not currently provide a dependable, universally documented list of everyone you recently shared a server with. If you are still in the experience, the best option is to open the player list, select the person, and open their profile or send a friend request before they leave. After you exit, recovery depends on remembering a username, display name, experience, chat message, screenshot, mutual friend, or another identifying clue.
Can Roblox show everyone you recently played with?
Roblox’s “recently played” surfaces generally refer to experiences, not a platform-wide history of the people in your previous servers. Roblox Support documents finding players through the in-experience leaderboard, searching for a known account, and joining a player who is currently online, but it does not document a universal “Recently Played With” page. Community feature requests and a current secondary guide also describe a recent-player list as unavailable or inconsistently requested rather than a standard Roblox feature: TechYorker, a Roblox Developer Forum request, and an earlier server-player request. Menus can vary by mobile, desktop, console, account age, region, and Roblox interface experiments, and an individual experience can customize or hide parts of its player interface.
Do not confuse a recently played experience, recommended users, friends, followers, or a game-specific match history with a complete Roblox record of previous co-players.

Find the player before leaving the server
This is the most reliable recovery method because the current player list is the one place where everyone in that server is visible at the same time.
Desktop
- Join the Roblox experience and return to the normal gameplay screen.
- Look for the player list or leaderboard, commonly near the upper-right corner.
- If it is hidden, open the experience menu and look for Leaderboard, Players, or a similar option, if the experience provides one.
- Select the player’s name. Use the profile, friend, block, or report action that appears.
- Open the profile or send the friend request before the player disconnects.
Roblox says the in-experience leaderboard can expose friend, block, and report actions from a player’s name: In-Experience Leaderboards and Notifications.
Mobile
- Open the in-experience menu or player list.
- Tap the player’s name or avatar.
- Choose the available profile or interaction control.
- Send the friend request or save the account details before leaving.
The exact button placement depends partly on the experience’s design, so a mobile screen may not match a desktop screenshot.

Console
- Open the console’s player list or the experience menu.
- Select the player if the interface allows it.
- Send a request or open the profile when that option is available.
- If console controls do not expose social actions, record the display name, experience, and any distinctive avatar details, then search from a phone or computer.
Console versions can offer fewer profile controls than desktop or mobile; do not assume every console build has identical menus.

Use the method that matches the information you still have. The more specific the identifier, the better the chance of finding the right account.

Search the username
- Use Roblox’s search field.
- Choose the People category.
- Enter the exact spelling and open the matching profile.
- Compare the avatar, username, mutual friends, groups, and other details before selecting Add friend.
That is Roblox’s documented friend-search path: search, choose People, open the profile, and add the friend. If your memory is approximate, try only a few likely spelling variations; do not send requests to every vaguely similar account.

Search a display name carefully
A username identifies the account used for searching. A display name is the public label and may be shared by many users. A display name alone is therefore not proof that a result is your former teammate. Verify the avatar, username, mutual connections, groups, the experience you met in, and any distinctive profile information. Roblox’s profile guidance is available in All About Profiles.
Check your social lists
Review current friends, followers, following lists, and pending or outgoing requests. The person may have sent or accepted a request, or you may have added them without noticing. These lists can reveal an interaction, but they are not a complete history of everyone encountered in a server.

Rejoin the same experience
Return to the experience promptly. You might encounter the person again, but matchmaking may place you in a different server and the original player may already be offline. If the experience offers a server browser, party list, match history, or round history, those tools may help; their availability is controlled by the experience developer, not Roblox globally.

Review chat
If the player wrote in chat, their name or profile may remain selectable in the chat interface. Chat availability depends on age-related requirements, age checks, privacy settings, region, and the experience’s features. Roblox explains these limits in How to message and chat with friends.
Use the experience’s own records
Some games keep recent teammate lists, match or round history, trade history, party records, guild rosters, report logs, or player profiles. Check the experience’s menus, help page, official community, or developer support. Such records are game-specific and cannot be treated as a Roblox-wide player history.
Check screenshots and recordings
Review console captures, phone screenshots, clips, or recordings from the session. A visible username is much more useful than a display name. If you find only an unfamiliar display name, use the profile checks above before contacting anyone.

Follow or join the player later
Once you identify the account, open the profile and look for Join Experience or a follow option. Roblox says joining depends on the person currently being in an experience, allowing others to follow or join, and your permission to enter that experience: How to follow or join another player in experiences.
The button can be absent when the player is offline, is not in an experience, has restricted visibility, is in a private or restricted experience, or your account cannot enter. Roblox’s Online Status and Visibility controls can hide online status or the current experience, with availability affected by account and regional settings.
Why the player list or profile option may be missing
- The experience hid or customized its leaderboard.
- The player list was toggled off or is unavailable on your platform.
- You are viewing a menu or screen where the list is not shown.
- The experience does not expose profile controls from its player list.
- The account changed its username, display name, privacy settings, or visibility.
Return to the ordinary gameplay view, open the experience menu, and look for Leaderboard, Players, or equivalent wording. If the interface is heavily customized, consult that experience’s help or developer channels.
Prevent the problem next time
- Open the player’s profile and send a request while both of you are still in the server.
- Copy or carefully note the username rather than relying on the display name.
- Take a screenshot of the player list when a name is difficult to spell.
- Record the screen if the interaction is important and local capture is available.
- Use the experience’s party, group, or teammate system when it offers one.
Avoid “recent player finder” scams
Unofficial websites and browser extensions cannot be treated as safe substitutes for Roblox’s own features. Never provide a Roblox password, session cookie, authentication code, or backup code to a service claiming it can reveal hidden player history. Extensions requesting broad account or browsing permissions may be inaccurate, outdated, or dangerous. Use Roblox’s built-in block and report controls instead, especially when the encounter involved harassment or abuse.
