To return to a Fortnite world you’ve played before, open Library from Discover and select Recently Played. Fortnite calls these user-created experiences “islands,” which is the term you’ll see in the game’s interface.
Open Recently Played in Fortnite

From the Discover screen, open the Library icon.

Select Recently Played to see islands from your recent play history.
Epic’s Exploring Discover guide confirms that you can select Recently Played from this screen.
What appears in the list—and for how long
The list updates dynamically based on your session history. Epic says islands remain in Recently Played for 90 days before they are no longer considered recent. It is not a permanent or complete archive of everything you have played. Epic also notes that private or delisted islands are exceptions to the islands shown in the row. See How Discover Works.

If the island is missing
If you know the island’s title or island code, search for it in Discover. Epic’s guide documents search by either identifier. You will need the title or code to use this fallback.
Why Discover may look different
Discover’s rows and their order can vary by player. Epic identifies factors including age rating, platform, region, and whether personalization is enabled; its recommendations disclosure also says the Homebar combines recently played islands with recommendations. Use the Library route above rather than relying on a particular row position on the Discover screen. See Epic’s recommendations and ranking disclosure.
