Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Scoutmaster Myre’s journal entries are found on scrolls at campfires in PEAK. The current progression runs from page 0 through page 12; some later pages require earlier pages, a minimum number of unique pages, or a particular next biome. You do not need to wait for a daily reset: the community wiki’s patch history says scrolls can spawn each run in chronological order.
Where to find the journal scrolls
Look for scrolls at campfires and open them to read the available page. Keep track of which pages you have read, since later entries are gated by that progress. The current PEAK Wiki journal page lists page 0 as always available and pages through 12 as the current progression.
For biome-specific entries, the relevant biome is the one next to the closest campfire. The wiki says that campfire does not have to be lit.
Page requirements and next biomes
Use the current page numbers and requirements below rather than older walkthroughs that stop at eight entries. The requirements are listed by the current community wiki; it does not provide a complete reliable transcription of every page’s title or story text.

A practical route through the pages
-
At a campfire, check for and open a scroll. Record the page you read so you can track the unique-page requirements for later entries.
-
For pages 4–9, arrange your route so the next biome matches the page’s requirement: Tropics for 4, Roots for 5, Alpine for 6, Mesa for 7, Caldera for 8, or Gloom for 9. Judge the biome by the closest campfire, whether it is lit or not.
-
Before pursuing page 10, make sure you have read six unique pages and that Alpine is next. For page 11, have seven unique pages and choose a next biome other than Tropics or Roots. For page 12, read page 10 first and again choose a next biome other than Tropics or Roots.
-
Read page 12 to meet the listed Bookworm Badge condition. The wiki’s patch history says an earlier shortcut—reading only the final page—was removed in version 1.10.a.

Do you have to wait for a daily reset?
No. The community wiki says version 1.8, dated July 21, 2025, changed scrolls so they can have a chance to spawn each time you play and appear in chronological order, instead of being determined by the daily seed. Follow your page progress and the next-biome requirement rather than waiting for an island or daily reset.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why older guides list only eight entries
A June 2025 Destructoid walkthrough describes an eight-entry system and advises waiting for an island reset. That reflects an earlier version of the collectible. The community wiki records that version 1.8 changed scroll spawning on July 21, 2025, and version 2.0.a added more pages and renumbered them on August 11, 2026. For the current route, use the page requirements above.
The wiki also records a version 2.4.c fix on September 14, 2026, for Bookworm Badge progress resetting at the start of runs and for scrolls disappearing when opened. If either issue happens, check your installed game version and the latest patch notes; the wiki is community-maintained, so its implementation details may change with updates.
