Open Steam’s global Top Sellers chart to see the worldwide real-time ranking. To view an available country-specific chart, use the region switcher on Steam’s Charts page and select a country; choose the global view to return to worldwide results.
How to open Steam’s global Top Sellers chart
- Go to Steam’s global Top Sellers chart.
- To see a country view instead, use the region switcher on the Charts page and choose the country you want.
- Select the global view in the switcher to return to worldwide results.
Steam says the chart defaults to your own country when a country-specific chart is available. It provides country charts for a set of its most popular countries, not necessarily every country, and its published description does not list all supported choices. If the country you want is not in the switcher, Steam may not offer a chart for it.
What Steam’s Top Sellers ranking measures
The real-time Top Sellers chart ranks by revenue, not by copies sold or the number of players currently in a game. Steam says its method counts revenue from all editions of a game, along with DLC and in-game transactions. A DLC item can also appear as its own chart entry when it sells well enough.
Real-time Top Sellers versus weekly charts
The real-time view shows what is selling well now. Steam’s weekly Top Sellers charts rank the top 100 games by revenue earned during each weekly period; those periods begin and end Monday at 10 a.m. Pacific time, according to Steam’s September 22, 2022 chart announcement.

Top Sellers versus Most Played
Use Top Sellers to see a revenue ranking. Steam’s Most Played chart answers a different question: it is based on the number of players in a game, rather than sales revenue.
