BioWare’s N7 Day 2024 post points Dragon Age: The Veilguard players to a new chest inside the Lighthouse for a small Mass Effect-themed treat. The post does not name the item or give a detailed claim sequence; the N7 armor identification comes from the topic, not the announcement text.
Where to find the N7 Day surprise
BioWare’s N7 Day 2024 announcement, published November 7, 2024, says players may notice “a small treat from the Mass Effect team” by checking a new chest inside the Lighthouse.
That is the only location and action the post confirms. It does not identify the chest’s exact room, state any quest or progression requirement, or give an interaction-by-interaction walkthrough. The announcement itself also does not name the treat as N7 armor, so it cannot verify item-specific claim instructions.
What the announcement does—and does not—confirm
- Confirmed: The treat is associated with a new chest inside the Lighthouse.
- Not specified: The chest’s precise room, prerequisites, or an exact sequence of steps to claim the item.
- Not specified: The treat’s gameplay effects or whether a particular game edition or purchase is required.
Accordingly, the supported direction is to check the new Lighthouse chest; claims about a particular quest, room, or sequence go beyond what BioWare’s post says.

The N7 Day announcement does not call the Lighthouse treat a Deluxe Edition bonus. EA’s separate Deluxe Upgrade page describes its armor and weapons as cosmetic and says the upgrade requires the base game. Those separately described items should not be conflated with the N7 Day chest treat.

EA describes The Veilguard as a single-player RPG and lists PC, PlayStation, and Xbox availability on its game page. EA’s October 31, 2024 launch-day guide specifies PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S as launch platforms. The N7 Day announcement does not describe the treat as platform-specific.
