An email prompt usually calls for checking which Epic account you use; an “already linked” message is a platform-account issue; and “EoS Login Error – 200_001” has a separate set of PC troubleshooting steps. Match your message to the sections below before changing account links or network settings.
If Fall Guys asks for your Epic Games account email
If you see “Please enter the email address you used to create your Epic Games account,” Epic says you may have entered the wrong email. Use Epic’s account-email lookup guidance to identify the address associated with your account.
If you know the correct address but still receive an error when entering it, Epic directs you to submit an Account Recovery Request to update the email. Start by identifying or recovering the account you already use rather than creating another one.
If your platform account is already linked to another Epic account
The message “This account for [platform] is already linked to another Epic Games account” points to an account-linking conflict. Epic says the platform account may already be attached to a different Epic account, or an Epic account may have been created through the platform after play began without completing the intended link.

- Sign in through the platform account that has your Fall Guys progress to identify the Epic account associated with it. Use Epic’s Steam progress-sync instructions to follow the appropriate account-linking flow.
- Check which account has the progress you want before unlinking or relinking anything. Epic says progress from different platforms cannot be combined; if the accounts show different progress, you must choose which platform’s progress to keep.
- Before removing a console link, read Epic’s console-account unlinking guidance. Epic warns that unlinking can affect access to information stored on the Epic account, including progress or skins, when playing from that console.
Epic also states that after completing its platform restriction-removal process, you cannot attempt that process again for 365 days. Check the current on-screen flow or contact Epic Support if you are unsure whether it applies to your account.
If you see “EoS Login Error – 200_001” on PC
Use these steps for this specific code, not for an email prompt or an account-link conflict. Epic’s EoS Login Error 200_001 instructions recommend:

- Verify the Fall Guys game files.
- Run the Epic Games Launcher as an administrator.
- Disable an active VPN or hosting service, then test again.
- Disable any proxy and retry.
- If the error remains, check whether third-party software listed by Epic is involved. The page names MSI Afterburner.
If the error looks like a general connection or login problem
For trouble logging in, downloading or updating, matchmaking, joining parties, or an unspecified connection error, use Epic’s Fall Guys connection troubleshooting guide.
- Check the Epic Games status page for a known service issue.
- If no relevant issue is shown and you are on Wi-Fi, try a wired connection if available.
- Make sure your PC or console clock is accurate. Epic notes that “The clock on your PC or console must be accurate in order for Epic Games to connect to servers.” Follow the guide’s platform-specific clock instructions if you need help checking it.
- If the problem continues, follow the guide’s further network troubleshooting steps for your platform.
These network checks address connectivity symptoms; they do not identify which Epic account owns a platform account or resolve an account-link conflict.
