Battlefield 6 Twitch Drops usually fail for one of five reasons: the stream was not eligible, Twitch never recorded the required viewing time, the reward was not claimed, Twitch is linked to the wrong EA Account, or the reward was delivered to a different platform. Follow the reward’s status from eligible to progressing, claimable, claimed, and finally delivered.
Before troubleshooting, check the official Battlefield 6 Twitch Drops page. Campaigns are time-limited and can have different dates, viewing requirements, eligible channels, rewards, and destinations for Battlefield 6 or REDSEC.

Use this order first
- Confirm the campaign is active and the stream qualifies.
- Check Twitch Drops & Rewards for viewing progress.
- Press Claim when the reward becomes available.
- Verify that Twitch is linked to the EA Account used to play.
- Choose the destination platform, then launch Battlefield 6 or REDSEC there first.
- Restart the game and system, then allow up to 24 hours for delivery.
Do not immediately unlink accounts or reinstall the game. EA warns that unlinking platform accounts can affect purchases, progress, and access, while reinstalling does not correct an account or entitlement mismatch.

1. Check whether the Twitch Drops campaign is active
Do not assume that every Battlefield 6 stream offers Drops. Open the official campaign page and verify:

- The campaign dates have not ended.
- The campaign applies to Battlefield 6, REDSEC, or both.
- The stream is in the required Twitch category.
- A particular creator or channel is not required.
- You have met the current reward’s viewing requirement.
- The reward is still available to claim.
Beta and launch promotions from August 2025 or October 2025 are historical campaigns, not proof that the same rewards are currently obtainable. If a reward came from an older campaign, recovery depends on whether it was earned and claimed before that campaign’s deadline.
2. Confirm that Twitch is tracking your viewing
Watching a Battlefield-related video is not enough. You generally need an eligible live Twitch stream associated with the active campaign. Confirm that:
- The broadcast is live rather than a VOD or unrelated video.
- The stream is in the qualifying Battlefield category.
- Twitch shows a Drops-enabled or campaign-specific eligibility notice.
- You are signed in to the Twitch account you intend to use.
- The campaign appears in Twitch’s Drops & Rewards inventory.
Open Twitch, select your profile picture, and choose Drops & Rewards. The exact labels can change, but the inventory should show the campaign and its state:

- Locked: the viewing objective is incomplete.
- Progressing: Twitch is recording viewing time.
- Claimable: the objective is complete, but you still need to select Claim.
- Claimed: Twitch has recorded the reward and it can be delivered to the linked EA account.
- Expired or unavailable: the campaign or claim window may have ended.
If there is no progress, refresh Twitch and check the inventory again. As general Twitch troubleshooting, try the website instead of the app, or the app instead of the website, and temporarily disable an extension that is interfering with page loading or playback. These are practical remedies, not Battlefield-specific fixes confirmed by EA.

3. Claim the Drop on Twitch
Completing the viewing requirement does not automatically finish the process. EA says the Drop must be claimed in Twitch’s Drops & Rewards area.
- Sign in to the Twitch account used for viewing.
- Select your Twitch profile picture.
- Open Drops & Rewards.
- Find the Battlefield 6 or REDSEC campaign.
- Select the reward and press Claim.
- Confirm that its state changes to Claimed.
EA’s Battlefield 6 guidance says Drops must be claimed within 24 hours of becoming available. Watching for extra time will not replace the required claim action. For general claiming and delivery guidance, see EA’s Twitch Drops support page.
4. Verify the correct EA Account and platform links
The Twitch account must be connected to the same EA Account used to play Battlefield 6 or REDSEC. Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox must also be connected to that EA Account.
- Open EA Account settings.
- Go to Connections or Connected Accounts.
- Confirm the displayed Twitch username.
- Confirm that the EA Account email or username matches the account used in-game.
- Check that the intended Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox account is connected.
If you have multiple EA Accounts, identify which one contains your Battlefield 6 progress and platform connection before changing anything. EA’s Battlefield 6 access guidance warns that unlinking can affect purchases, progress, and access, and that a platform may not be freely relinked to another EA Account.

Link Twitch and EA without creating another mismatch
Sign out of unrelated EA and Twitch sessions first, then use EA’s Twitch linking page. Before approving the connection, check both the displayed Twitch username and EA Account. After linking, return to Twitch and inspect Drops & Rewards.
Do not link a second Twitch account merely as a test. If the wrong account is already connected, changing the connection may be restricted or delayed.
5. Launch the intended platform first
For example, if you claim the reward and first launch on Xbox, do not expect it to move automatically to Steam or PlayStation later. Decide on the destination platform before claiming, then launch that platform first. If the reward went to the wrong platform, contact EA Help, but do not assume that support can transfer it.
6. Fix a Drop that is claimed but missing in-game
Work through these steps in order:
- Confirm that Twitch shows the reward as Claimed, not merely complete or progressing.
- Confirm that Twitch is linked to the EA Account used in Battlefield 6 or REDSEC.
- Confirm that the correct Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox account is linked.
- Close the game completely.
- Restart Battlefield 6 or REDSEC.
- Restart the PC or console if the reward is still absent.
- Check the relevant inventory, customization, loadout, collection, or reward section.
- Check EA’s Battlefield support hub for service problems.
- Wait up to 24 hours from the Twitch claim time.
EA says some rewards can take up to 24 hours to appear in-game. Repeatedly unlinking accounts, switching platforms, or reinstalling the game is unlikely to help if the entitlement is attached to another account or platform.

Symptom-by-symptom fixes
Twitch progress is stuck at zero
Verify the campaign, live stream, category, eligible creator, Twitch account, and campaign dates. Refresh Drops & Rewards, sign out and back in, then watch an eligible stream for a short additional period. If the campaign is absent entirely, the issue may be eligibility or campaign availability rather than Battlefield 6 delivery.
The viewing requirement is complete, but there is no Claim button
Refresh Twitch and reopen Drops & Rewards. Sign out and back in if necessary, then check whether the claim window has expired. Do not treat a full progress bar as proof that the reward was claimed.
Twitch says the reward is claimed, but the game does not show it
Check the EA and platform connections, identify the first platform launched after claiming, restart the game and system, check server status, and wait up to 24 hours. If all of those conditions are correct and the item remains missing, escalate to EA.

EA says Twitch Drops cannot be transferred. Document the claim and platform mistake and contact EA Help, but expect that recovery may not be possible. Reinstalling or relinking accounts is not a reliable transfer method.

The EA/Twitch linking page fails
Sign out of unrelated accounts, reopen the linking page, and verify the usernames before approving the connection. If the platform is attached to the wrong EA Account, identify the correct account before making changes. Do not unlink as a routine troubleshooting step because of the potential impact on access and progress.
An old beta or launch reward is missing
Check when the reward was earned, whether it was claimed before the campaign deadline, and whether you are using the same EA and platform accounts. A current account-linking attempt cannot recreate a reward that was never earned or claimed, and an expired campaign may no longer be recoverable.
You expected a Battlefield 6 reward in REDSEC, or vice versa
Check the specific campaign’s destination and ownership rules. Some campaigns may support Battlefield 6 and REDSEC, while others may not. Ownership requirements and reward usability vary by campaign, so avoid assuming that every Drop works in both games.
When to contact EA Help
Contact EA after the stated waiting period when all of the following are true:
- Twitch shows the reward as claimed.
- The correct EA Account is connected.
- The intended Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox account is connected.
- You launched the intended platform first.
- You restarted the game and system.
- The reward is still missing after up to 24 hours.
Include:
- EA Account email or username.
- Twitch username.
- Platform and platform username.
- Campaign and reward name.
- Approximate claim date and time.
- A screenshot showing the reward as claimed.
- Screenshots of the relevant account connections.
- Any error message.
For an in-game entitlement, EA is the more relevant escalation point once Twitch confirms the reward was claimed. Twitch can help establish the viewing and claim status, while EA controls the game-side account and delivery.
Bottom line
The reliable sequence is: earn the Drop → claim it on Twitch → verify the correct EA Account → launch the intended platform first → restart and wait up to 24 hours → contact EA if it is still missing. The three mistakes most likely to explain a missing reward are failing to press Claim, using the wrong EA Account, and launching the wrong platform first.
