The “Your device isn’t compatible” message usually means the app store considers your phone ineligible for the CarX Street version currently available—not necessarily that your phone is broken. Check the official listing and your device details first; if an Android phone appears to meet CarX’s older published guidance, refreshing Play Store data may be worth trying. It cannot override a restriction set by the developer.
What the compatibility error means
Google Play compatibility guidance explains that developers set app requirements, which may include software version, screen size, or hardware. A store update or cache reset cannot force-install an app that the developer has made unavailable for your device. A Google Play Community Diamond Product Expert made this point in a response dated January 28, 2025: Google Play Community: “Your device isn’t compatible with this version”.

CarX Street’s official channel has published historical compatibility guidance, but those statements do not establish current eligibility for every phone, game version, or region. The live store listing is the best starting point for your specific device.

Check your device against the current listing
- Confirm the store and listing. Check whether the message appears in Google Play or the iOS App Store, and make sure you are viewing the official CarX Street listing.
- Note your device details. On Android, record the exact phone model, Android version, and RAM. On iPhone or iPad, note the model and iOS version.
- Compare against the listing. Store eligibility can depend on more than a single published minimum. CarX’s channel historically stated that Android devices need more than 4 GB of RAM and compatible iOS devices need iOS 13.0 or later. These figures are historical guidance, not a guarantee that every device meeting them can install the current release. See the CarX Street Official channel’s compatibility notice.
Refresh Android’s store information
If your Android phone appears to meet the current requirements but Google Play still reports it as incompatible, update the phone’s software and Play Store if updates are available, then reopen the official listing. This can help if the store is showing stale information, but it does not change CarX’s device requirements.

CarX’s early availability notice suggested clearing Play Market cache and data for a device with 6 GB or more of RAM that still showed the error. Treat this as a refresh attempt, not a guaranteed fix; the 6 GB figure was the context for that troubleshooting advice, not a universal CarX Street minimum. The suggestion appears in the CarX Street Official channel.
Why Samsung compatibility advice may be outdated
CarX’s official channel has described a Samsung compatibility restriction in one notice and later referred to a compatibility fix. Those updates show that support can change over time; they do not establish that all Samsung phones are currently blocked or supported. Check the live listing for your exact model rather than relying on an older Samsung-specific post. The notices are available in the CarX Street Official channel’s compatibility updates.

Contact CarX if the store still blocks your device
If the error persists after checking the listing and refreshing the store, ask CarX whether your specific device is supported. CarX’s official channel lists [email protected]. Include the full device model, OS version, region, and a screenshot of the compatibility message so support can assess the exact case. Google Play Community guidance also recommends contacting the app developer when requirements remain unclear.
Do not install an unofficial APK to bypass the message
CarX warns that unofficial downloads may fail the game’s in-game file check and may put personal data at risk. Use the official store listing; an APK from an unofficial source is not a safe way to resolve a compatibility block.
