Check that your device can run the current game
Activision’s support page lists these minimum device requirements: Android 6.0 or later with at least 2 GB of RAM, or iOS 15.0 or later with at least 2 GB of RAM. Requirements can change, so check the support page if your device is near the minimum or the game will not update.
Try basic access and connection checks
Make one change at a time and try signing in again after each one. That makes it easier to tell whether a step changed the problem.
- Restart your device. Open COD Mobile again and try to sign in.
- Install available updates. Check the App Store or Google Play for a Call of Duty: Mobile update, and check your device settings for an operating-system update.
- Compare connections. Try a reliable Wi-Fi connection. If Wi-Fi is unreliable, restart your router if you can access it, then test using mobile data. A difference between the two connections may point to a connection issue, but does not identify the cause of either error code.
These are general access and connectivity steps from Activision’s troubleshooting guidance, not a confirmed explanation of Authorization Error 5B1302 or Authorization Error 5B100.

Use the troubleshooting step for your platform
Android: clear the app cache
Activision recommends clearing COD Mobile’s cache on Android. The exact Settings labels can vary by device:
- Open Settings and go to Apps (or the similarly named app list).
- Select Call of Duty: Mobile, then open Storage.
- Tap Clear Cache, reopen the game, and test sign-in.
Choose Clear Cache, not Clear Data, if both options appear. The cited Activision instructions specify clearing the cache.

iPhone or iPad: reinstall the game if simpler steps fail
Activision lists deleting and reinstalling the app as an iOS access troubleshooting step. Its instructions say deleting the app does not delete progress or other game data; sign back in with the same account to restore it.
- Open Settings → General → iPhone Storage or iPad Storage.
- Select Call of Duty: Mobile, then tap Delete App.
- Reinstall the game from the App Store and sign in with the same account.
Follow the official Activision access instructions if your device’s menus differ.

If the error remains, contact Activision Support
For in-game help, Activision directs players to the question-mark icon in the main lobby. If you cannot reach the lobby, use the Activision Support Options page to find game or account help. Explain which error code appears, your device and operating-system version, whether you use Wi-Fi or mobile data, and which steps you have already tried. No response time is stated on the support page.

Players report these errors while using different sign-in methods, including Facebook and Activision accounts. Community reports conflict, so “trouble logging in through Facebook or an Activision account” is useful context to include with a support request, but it does not establish that either login method, a permission setting, or a service outage is the cause. Activision’s cited troubleshooting page does not publish code-specific causes or fixes, and there is no established rate for how often these errors occur.
