First, classify the problem
Use the symptom, not a guess about its cause, to choose a path. A low frame rate, a crash during launch, a controller that is not detected, one unresponsive button, and a wrong button icon can have different causes.

It also says the game can be played with controller vibration and haptic feedback disabled. Xbox Series X|S
The launch announcement lists Xbox Series X|S as a platform. The official material cited here does not provide an Xbox-specific troubleshooting workflow, button map, or performance specification. Steam’s 2026 listing gives two compatibility baselines. They are requirements published by the storefront, not laboratory measurements and not a guarantee of a particular frame rate, resolution, or graphics preset.

If the computer is below minimum
Expect compatibility risk rather than a specific performance outcome. A machine below one listed component may still launch, or it may crash, stutter, or fail to maintain a usable frame rate; the published page does not quantify those outcomes. Do not infer that buying one particular graphics card, adding memory, or moving the installation to an SSD will definitely solve a game-specific problem.

Check every item instead of looking only at the GPU. Confirm Windows version, processor, RAM, graphics adapter, free space, and the required SSD installation. A system that meets the GPU example but has less than 12 GB RAM or runs the game from a hard disk is not equivalent to the complete minimum configuration.
If the computer reaches recommended
Recommended hardware is a stronger compatibility position, not a promised frame rate. If performance is poor despite meeting it, continue with the diagnostic sequence rather than assuming the requirement table is a benchmark.

Controller and accessibility options on PS5
PlayStation documents alternate control presets or some remapping support for the PS5 version. If your issue is that a preferred layout is uncomfortable, open the game’s control options and look for the available preset or remapping entry, then test the changed control in a low-risk session. The documentation does not establish one universal menu path or claim that remapping repairs a controller that the console cannot detect.
For unwanted vibration, PlayStation says the game can be played with controller vibration and haptic feedback turned off. Use the PS5 game or system control presented on your console, depending on where the option appears. This addresses vibration preference; it does not address crashes, stutter, or missing inputs.
When the PS5 does not see the controller
- Press the controller’s PS button and confirm that it is assigned to the active user.
