1. Record the exact EAC error
Write down the full message and any error code shown when Squad fails to start or EAC reports a problem. Different messages can point to different categories, including a missing installation, a Windows service issue, or an unknown file version. EAC’s technical support index lists these as separate topics, along with error 30005.

Use the wording on your screen to identify the closest matching article. Avoid choosing a repair before you know which category applies; the index is a set of topic guides, not a single universal fix.
2. Follow the matching EAC support guidance
Open the EAC support article index and look for the entry that matches your message or code. EAC’s player support page directs players to its support articles for common problems. Follow guidance that clearly matches the error you are seeing; do not assume instructions for a different error or game apply to Squad.

3. Contact Squad support if the error remains
If the relevant EAC article does not resolve the problem, contact the support channel for the game. EAC advises players who still need help to reach out to the relevant game’s support team. Include the exact error text or code and explain when it appears, so support can identify the failure category.

EA documents a procedure for its own games: run the game’s Easy Anti-Cheat setup as administrator, select the game, choose “Repair Service,” and try the game’s repair option if needed. That is guidance for EA titles, not verified instructions for Squad. EA also describes repairing game files from the EA app library for EA games. Neither source establishes the equivalent Squad launcher steps, a Squad-specific EAC reinstall procedure, or a file-verification route, so do not treat those EA instructions as Squad fixes.
