If LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga is running slowly on your PC, try lowering the game’s resolution first. Star Wars Support specifically recommends a lower resolution when performance is poor or the game locks up after selecting one above 1024×768. If you mean delay while playing remotely, that is a different problem: Steam describes the PC game as supporting two-player local co-op, and a Steam Community reply says online multiplayer is not supported.
First identify what “lag” means
Slow or uneven animation and pauses point to a rendering-performance problem. A noticeable delay between a player’s input and the game’s response during remote play may instead involve the method being used to play together. The available game-specific guidance documents one graphics setting to try; it does not diagnose a particular PC or remote-play connection.

Lower the resolution if the game itself runs slowly
Star Wars Support says low-end graphics cards can cause slow performance in some areas. It recommends selecting a lower resolution if performance is poor or the game locks up after you choose a resolution above 1024×768.

- Select a resolution lower than the one currently in use. This is especially relevant if the current setting is above 1024×768.
- Resume play and check whether the slowdown or lockups change.
The support guidance does not promise that this will fix every performance problem. If lowering the resolution makes no difference, the cause is not established by the available information; collect your PC specifications, selected resolution, and whether the slowdown also occurs in single-player before considering hardware changes.

Check whether your co-op session is local or remote
Steam’s listing describes the PC game as having two-player local co-op. A Steam Community discussion says the PC version does not support online multiplayer; that is community information, not an official support confirmation.
If you and the other player are not sharing the same local setup, you may be using an additional remote-play method. The cited sources do not identify or diagnose such a method, so the game’s resolution advice should not be treated as a fix for remote input delay. Note whether the issue happens in local play, remote play, or both before seeking further troubleshooting.
Keep the game’s age and requirements in perspective
The Steam listing gives these minimum requirements for the PC release, dated November 12, 2009. Treat them as the published baseline for that listing, not as a diagnosis of a modern PC’s performance.

Controls and purchases are separate from performance
The game manual lists Xbox 360 controller support, but does not say a controller improves frame rate or removes lag. The documented performance step is changing the resolution; the cited sources do not establish a GPU, controller, display, or other purchase as necessary to fix this issue.

For follow-up troubleshooting, record the PC specifications, the resolution selected, whether slowdown occurs in single-player, and whether co-op is local or remote. Those details help separate a rendering problem from delay introduced by a remote-play setup.
