Minecraft’s Drowned error means there’s a problem signing in to a Microsoft account. Minecraft Support’s guidance applies to Minecraft: Bedrock Edition: refresh your sign-in session, update the game, check your platform’s service status, and—if those steps fail—change your Microsoft account password to trigger a fresh sign-in.

3. Check whether your platform’s sign-in services are available

- Xbox service status
- PlayStation service status
- Nintendo service status
- Apple service status
- Google Play service status
4. Change your Microsoft account password if the error persists
If refreshing the session, updating the game, and checking platform services have not fixed the problem, Minecraft Support’s last listed step is to change your Microsoft account password. The password change forces a fresh sign-in. Use Microsoft’s current password-change instructions linked from Minecraft Support, then sign in to Minecraft again.
