Minecraft’s U-000 error has been reported in two different places: Marketplace and the screen for adding a custom server. The right first step depends on where it appeared. If you saw it while adding a server, check whether that server is already saved in your list. If it appeared in Marketplace, the available guidance points to contacting Minecraft Support; no specific local fix is established.
First, identify where U-000 appeared
U-000 does not have one established explanation that covers every report. A Microsoft Community thread describes it while opening Marketplace, while a separate Bedrock bug report records it during the Servers > Add Server flow. Those reports do not establish that both errors have the same cause.

- Marketplace: The error appeared while opening or using Marketplace.
- Adding a server: The error appeared while saving a custom server through the Servers screen.
If U-000 appeared while adding a server
- Open Minecraft’s server list and look for the server you were trying to add.
- If it is already listed, select that saved entry instead of adding the same server again.
- If the error continues, note your platform, Minecraft version, and the exact action that triggers it, then contact Minecraft Support.
A third-party Bedrock hosting guide suggests a duplicate server entry as a possible reason for U-000 in this specific flow. That is a useful first check, not a confirmed cause for every server-add error. A separate Mojira.dev mirror of report MCPE-235036 reproduces the message “Something went wrong. Please try again later. Error code: U-000” during server addition. The mirror marks the report unconfirmed and says it was duplicated to MCPE-194696; it does not establish an official root cause or fix.
If U-000 appeared in Marketplace
A Microsoft Community thread reports the error while opening Marketplace on PlayStation, with comments from Switch users. In a June 12, 2023 reply, Microsoft moderator Tomm_A described it as “some miscommunication between your device and Minecraft marketplace” and advised contacting Minecraft Support.

- Minecraft is a game about placing blocks and going on adventures
- Explore randomly generated worlds and build amazing things from the simplest of homes to the grandest of castles
- Play in creative mode with unlimited resources or mine deep into the world in survival mode, crafting weapons and armor to fend off the dangerous mobs
- Play on the go in handheld or tabletop modes
- Includes Super Mario Mash-Up, Natural Texture Pack, Biome Settlers Skin Pack, Battle & Beasts Skin Pack, Campfire Tales Skin Pack; Compatible with Nintendo Switch only
That reply is a moderator’s explanation in a community thread, not a formal error-code definition. The available source does not verify a cache reset, DNS change, reinstall, or other local procedure as a reliable Marketplace fix. If the error persists, contact Minecraft Support and include your platform, game version, the screen or action involved, and the exact error text.

The Marketplace thread includes a PlayStation question and comments from Switch users. The mirrored server report lists Windows 10/11 and Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.132 Hotfix. These are individual reported cases, not evidence that U-000 affects every platform or version. The sources also provide no reliable prevalence figure or measured success rate for any fix.
