Riot’s first recommended fix for VAL 59 is to fully exit and restart the Riot Client. Then check Riot’s support notices for a service issue. If the error remains, submit a ticket to Riot Player Support. Riot maps VAL 59 to a login-queue problem, but its error-code page also warns that the list is out of date and a recent issue may cause errors to display incorrectly.
What VAL 59 means
Riot lists VAL 59 as LoginQueueFetchTokenFailure and describes it as an issue with the login queue. That is Riot’s published explanation, not a guaranteed diagnosis for every occurrence: its VALORANT error-code page, dated June 2, 2026, prominently says the list is out of date and warns that a recent issue may cause VALORANT errors to display incorrectly. Riot has not established whether that warning affects every VAL 59 instance.

Fully restart the Riot Client
Exit the Riot Client completely, open it again, and try launching VALORANT. Restarting the client is Riot’s explicit first recommendation for VAL 59.

Check Riot’s notices
Look for an incident or service notice on the VALORANT Support page and check the Riot Service Status page. Riot advises players to check its support banners and Discord for emergent issues. A status-page search result showed no recent issues or events when crawled, but that is only a snapshot; the live page is the better place to check when the error occurs.

Submit a support ticket if it persists
If restarting and checking notices do not help, contact Riot Player Support and submit a ticket. Include the exact error code and when it appears so support can assess your case.

What not to treat as a confirmed VAL 59 fix
Riot’s VAL 59 entry does not prescribe removing Vanguard, reinstalling the game, changing DNS settings, replacing a router, or editing the Windows registry. Those steps are not established here as official or reliably effective VAL 59 fixes. Start with Riot’s client restart and service notices rather than making disruptive system changes for a login-queue error.
