The fix depends on what is missing: newly redeemed base-game songs may still be downloading, two-song access may mean you are in a demo or free mode, and a Just Dance+ or Just Dance Unlimited track may be unavailable because of catalogue or licensing changes. Start by checking your game edition and whether the song belongs to that edition or an online service.
New Just Dance 2024 songs are missing from a 2023 installation
Ubisoft’s Just Dance 2024 FAQ addresses players who redeemed Just Dance 2024 Edition while using Just Dance 2023 Edition. If the game was opened before the 2024 content download finished, the new songs may not appear yet.
- Wait for the Just Dance 2024 content download to finish.
- Quit Just Dance completely.
- Restart the game and check the song library again.
- If the songs are still missing, contact Ubisoft support for Just Dance 2024.
This documented recovery applies to the 2023/2024 shared installation scenario; it is not a universal fix for every Just Dance edition or every missing track.
You can play only two songs
First identify the game year and access mode. Ubisoft’s 2024 FAQ says access to only two songs probably means the player is using the Just Dance demo; it directs players who want more songs to purchase Just Dance 2024 Edition. If you already bought it and still have only two songs, use the FAQ’s support route rather than assuming the library needs reinstalling.

- Workout mode for fitness enthusiasts. Start your own fitness routine and exercise while having fun in Workout mode. Keep yourself motivated by tracking calories burnt and time spent dancing.
- Regardless of if you or your friends own Just Dance 2023 Edition, Just Dance 2024 Edition, or Just Dance 2025 Edition, all players are connected on the same platform. If you own several editions, all content is together in the same place
The free experience described in Ubisoft’s version 26.0.0 patch notes is a different case: free users can spend tokens to play songs from the latest edition, and two songs remain available without limit after tokens run out. A two-song limit therefore does not by itself show that an owned game has lost its tracks.
A song is unavailable offline
Offline access varies by platform and by whether a map is part of the base game or an online catalogue. Ubisoft’s 2024 FAQ says Nintendo Switch players need an internet connection to access all songs in their game, but can download up to 40 base-game songs for offline play. Some map versions may be unavailable because of limited download space. That allowance concerns base-game songs, not Just Dance+ subscription maps.

Just Dance+ maps cannot be downloaded and require an internet connection. The FAQ also says PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S require internet for setup and use of the dedicated controller app. If the missing track is an online-service song, reconnect and check the in-game catalogue; an offline download will not make a Just Dance+ map available.
Check that the edition and subscription match
Just Dance Unlimited and Just Dance+ are different services. Ubisoft says Just Dance Unlimited is not compatible with Just Dance 2023 or 2024, so an Unlimited subscription will not add its catalogue to those editions.

Ubisoft’s Just Dance+ information describes the service as playable through Just Dance 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 editions, subject to an Ubisoft account, a console account, persistent internet, a paid subscription, and age and territory terms. Verify the exact game year, platform account, subscription status, and region before treating a service song as a missing base-game track.
One Just Dance+ song is absent from the catalogue
Tracks in an online subscription catalogue can change as music rights change. In a January 27, 2026 article, Ubisoft explained: “Every song available in the service relies on licensing agreements that evolve over time, and these conditions directly affect what we can keep, renew, or add to the catalogue.”

Ubisoft said most original Just Dance 2023 and 2024 tracklists were planned to join Just Dance+ in batches, with some tracks excluded for licensing reasons. That announcement describes a planned catalogue transition, not a guarantee that every track is available now. Check the live in-game Just Dance+ catalogue and the song’s original edition. Restarting or reinstalling cannot be promised to restore a track that is not licensed for the service.

Ubisoft Help’s indexed article, “Changes to Just Dance Unlimited,” said approximately 200 songs were scheduled for removal from the service on August 1, 2024 because of licensing constraints. It also described three months of access for active subscribers, with platform-specific handling. This was a dated service change; it does not mean a removed Unlimited song can now be restored, or that base-game tracks have been removed.

| What you see | Likely explanation | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| New 2024 songs absent from a 2023 installation after redemption | The content download may not have finished before the game was opened | Wait for the download, quit, relaunch, then contact Ubisoft support if the tracks remain absent |
| Only two songs available in Just Dance 2024 | Demo access is a likely explanation in Ubisoft’s FAQ | Confirm you own and launched the full edition; if purchased but still limited, use Ubisoft’s support route |
| Only two songs remain after tokens run out in the 2026 free experience | This is the free-access limit described in version 26.0.0 notes | Check the game’s access mode and current edition before troubleshooting a library fault |
| A base-game song is absent only while offline | The platform’s offline rules or a download/storage limit may apply | Reconnect; on Switch, check whether the base-game map was downloaded and storage is available |
| A Just Dance+ song is absent | Connectivity, subscription access, or catalogue licensing may be involved | Reconnect and verify the live catalogue, edition, and subscription |
| An Unlimited song is absent from 2023 or 2024 | Unlimited is not compatible with those editions | Check whether the track belongs to the base game or Just Dance+ instead |
