Silent Hill 2 is not still on its way to Xbox: KONAMI released the remake for Xbox Series X|S on November 21, 2025. The official Xbox Store listing also shows PC support and Xbox Play Anywhere.
When did Silent Hill 2 come to Xbox?
KONAMI announced on November 21, 2025, that Silent Hill 2, its remake of the 2001 psychological horror game, was available on Xbox Series X|S. The release is therefore complete, not an upcoming launch. KONAMI’s announcement confirms the date.

KONAMI reported that Silent Hill 2 surpassed five million units worldwide as of January 31, 2026, in an announcement published March 12, 2026. The publisher says the figure is based on internal data and includes physical and digital sales, store downloads, and subscription services across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is a combined total across those platforms and access types, not an Xbox-only sales figure. KONAMI’s milestone announcement provides the breakdown of what the count includes.
