Retry from a fully loaded session
Return to normal free roam, let the session finish loading, then reopen the SecuroServ organization flow and try again. This is a low-risk retry, not a Rockstar-verified fix for the naming prompt.

Use Rockstar’s PS5 connection troubleshooting if other online features are affected
If the naming step still fails and GTA Online’s other online features are also unreliable, follow Rockstar’s PS5 connection guide. It covers network conditions and clearing the console cache. Rockstar’s PS5 cache instructions say cached files can become corrupted and contribute to freezes, loading errors, or connectivity problems. Clearing cache does not delete save data or progress, but resets brightness and language preferences. Follow the steps on Rockstar’s page rather than interrupting the console during the process.
Rockstar also notes that when GTA Online status is UP, connection trouble may still come from conflicting connection types or other network-setup problems. A service-status check alone therefore cannot rule out a local connectivity issue.

Close and restart GTA V
