If your Endfield factory has lost power, free demand first, then manually restart generation: stash structures that keep drawing power, fuel a Thermal Bank with raw Orenium or batteries, and bring production back online in stages. The steps below reflect secondary guides and player reports, not an official developer explanation, so check the behavior and figures in your current game build.
Why total power loss happens
The available guides describe a power collapse as a factory demand problem: structures require more power than the network can generate or store. Nerd’s Chalk reports that the game leaves a 200-power emergency buffer, but this is a secondary guide’s figure, not an officially confirmed threshold. The practical priority is to reduce active demand enough to restart generation.

Free power by removing demand
Check which structures are still consuming power
Look over the factory for facilities that can be paused or removed temporarily. Nerd’s Chalk specifically suggests reviewing mining machines, ziplines, turrets, crafting stations, other unused facilities, and Protocol Stashes. A Protocol Stash or its supply line is worth checking, but player reports do not establish it as the cause in every outage.
Stash structures that remain a drain when switched off
There is an important difference between switching a building off and stashing it. According to Nerd’s Chalk, switching off stops production but may not release the building’s power demand; stashing removes the structure and its draw. If toggling facilities off does not restore a surplus, stash nonessential structures and check the power balance again. Confirm this behavior in your current build because it has not been verified here against an official source.

Restart generation manually
Once demand is lower, supply a Thermal Bank directly rather than waiting for a production chain that may itself depend on power. Nerd’s Chalk recommends raw Orenium as an initial fuel; player discussion also recommends supplying Thermal Banks manually with ore or batteries. Use whichever eligible fuel you have available, and verify the in-game prompt and output before committing resources.
Endfield Hub lists fuel-output values of +50 for raw Originium Ore, +220 for an LC Valley Battery, +1100 for an HC Valley Battery, and +1500 for an SC Wuling Battery. These are guide-reported, potentially version-sensitive figures, not official values; check the Thermal Bank interface in your current game before relying on them.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Restore the factory gradually
After generation resumes, bring essential production back in a controlled order and watch whether the network remains in surplus. Nerd’s Chalk suggests restarting mining at around 800 total power and says purple-battery production becomes viable above 1000 total power. Those are that guide’s suggested milestones, not official game thresholds. Treat them as rough reference points rather than requirements, and use the live power balance to decide what your factory can support.

- Restart essential mining and production first, checking the balance after each change.
- Reintroduce battery production only when the network can sustain it; keep spare batteries available if you have them.
- Restore optional facilities last, watching for a renewed deficit.
Keep the same collapse from recurring
A power loop can form if battery production stops while Thermal Banks depend on batteries for fuel. Endfield Hub describes this as a risk, while the guides recommend keeping Thermal Banks supplied and maintaining a backup fuel path. Keep accessible ore or spare batteries for manual recovery, avoid expanding demand faster than generation, and reassess the balance when adding facilities. Ratios and fuel figures in guides may vary by game version, so use the in-game values as the final check.
