In a September 2023 support discussion about one player’s case, which also involved reported bluescreens, Blizzard forum responder Zuvykree described Error 132 as generally a memory error and explained that the reported exception appeared to be an access violation involving unexpected memory values. Write down when the crash happens—such as at launch, while logging in, or during play—and copy any exception details shown with the error. Try these checks in order
1. Update your operating system and drivers
Install operating-system updates and device or graphics drivers using the supported update process from your OS or device manufacturer. 3. Close other applications temporarily

If Error 132 continues
For a game-only crash, collect logs and contact Blizzard
If the issue remains after the basic checks, use Blizzard’s guidance for obtaining game error logs and include the exact exception details and when the crash occurs when requesting support. For bluescreens or broader PC instability, widen the escalation
If WoW crashes alongside bluescreens or other signs that the computer itself is unstable, contact the device manufacturer or a qualified local PC repair shop.
