How do I fix Xbox controller stick drift?
Stick drift is unwanted movement—such as a character, cursor, or camera moving while you are not commanding it. The older Xbox One troubleshooting guide also lists joystick drift and awkward calibration among unexpected controller behaviors. Those symptoms do not establish one cause or a universal fix.
Distinguish a calibration concern from a hardware fault
