Riot publishes start times in each venue’s local time, and the listed hours change by stage and date. To find your viewing time, use the match date and its venue time zone—not one fixed “U.S. time” conversion.
Worlds 2026 dates, stages, and venues
Riot’s Worlds 2026 Primer, dated October 5, lists three stages. Play-Ins are in Los Angeles, Swiss is in Allen, Texas, and Knockout matches are split between Allen and Brooklyn.
| Stage | Dates | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Play-In | October 15–18 | Los Angeles |
| Swiss | October 23–31 | Allen, Texas |
| Knockout | November 3–14 | Allen, Texas, and Brooklyn, New York |
Official Worlds 2026 start times by stage
The following are Riot’s published venue-local start times and selected equivalents in the primer. “(+1)” means the local start falls on the following calendar day. Riot’s September 22 LoL Esports schedule and start-time notice also identifies adjusted starts; these are the current published blocks as of October 7, 2026.
| Match dates | Venue-local start | Selected equivalents published by Riot |
|---|---|---|
| Play-Ins, October 15–18 | 11 AM PDT | 8 PM CEST; 2 AM China time (+1); 3 AM KST (+1) |
| Swiss, October 23–24 | 12 PM CDT | 7 PM CEST; 1 AM China time (+1); 2 AM KST (+1) |
| Swiss, October 25–26 | 12 PM CDT | 6 PM CET; 1 AM China time (+1); 2 AM KST (+1) |
| Swiss, October 28–30 | 3 PM CDT | 9 PM CET (October 28 is marked as the next day in Riot’s listing); 4 AM China time (+1); 5 AM KST (+1) |
| Swiss, October 31 | 12 PM CDT | 6 PM CET; 1 AM China time (+1); 2 AM KST (+1) |
| Quarterfinals and Semifinals, November 3–8 | 4 PM CST | 11 PM CET; 6 AM China time (+1); 7 AM KST (+1) |
| Final, November 14 | 2 PM EST | 8 PM CET; 3 AM China time (+1); 4 AM KST (+1) |
Riot’s equivalents cover selected regions, not every city or time zone. For locations not listed, convert the venue-local date and time to your city rather than assuming a nearby region’s listed hour applies.

Convert a Worlds match time to your local time
- Open Riot’s schedule and primer. Use the LoL Esports schedule to locate the fixture and the Worlds 2026 Primer for stage and venue information.
- Write down the match date and venue-local time zone. Keep the date with the hour—for example, a Texas Swiss match at 12 PM CDT on October 23.
- Convert that specific date and time to your city. Use a date-aware time-zone converter or calendar app, entering the venue’s zone and your location. Don’t substitute a general “U.S. time” or reuse an offset from another stage.
- Keep the converted calendar date. A match that begins after midnight in your region is on the next day locally. Riot marks several Asia equivalents “(+1)” in its own schedule.
- Check the fixture again near match day. Riot says selected start times have been adjusted, and draws determine some matchups later in the event. Use the latest official schedule if a time or fixture changes.
Why the time-zone abbreviation matters
The event spans several weeks, more than one U.S. venue, and the October-to-November daylight-saving transition. Riot’s published blocks use PDT for Los Angeles Play-Ins, CDT for Texas Swiss matches, CST for Texas Quarterfinals and Semifinals, and EST for the New York final. These abbreviations identify different local offsets; they are not interchangeable labels for a single U.S. time zone.
The change from CDT to CST is particularly important: a Texas match in late October and one in November can both be listed at a given hour while having different relationships to other cities’ clocks. Convert each match using its own date and venue zone.

Why some match details appear later
Riot’s primer says the Play-Ins are a four-team best-of-five double-elimination bracket, with the draw following the CBLOL Finals on October 10. Swiss has five rounds: teams need three wins to advance, while three losses eliminate them. The Round 1 draw follows Play-Ins on October 18; later Swiss matchups pair teams with the same record. Those draws mean opponents and fixture details are not all fixed far in advance, so rely on the updated schedule rather than an old fixture list.
