Can you summon a giant zombie in vanilla Bedrock?
Not through a documented vanilla entity identifier. Microsoft’s Bedrock entity listing includes zombie but does not list giant. Since /summon requires an entity type, /summon giant is not a documented vanilla Bedrock command. This conclusion follows from the official list; Microsoft does not separately state that giants are unavailable.
Java Edition tutorials that use a giant entity ID or Java-specific entity data do not establish that the same command works in Bedrock. A third-party add-on may provide a giant-looking custom entity, but that is different from summoning a vanilla giant.
How to summon a regular zombie
- Enable cheats if needed. In Bedrock single-player, open the world settings, select the Game tab, and turn on Allow Cheats. See Minecraft’s official command guide.
- Enter the summon command:
/summon zombie ~ ~ ~. The tildes use the command’s execution position as the spawn location.
Microsoft’s Bedrock /summon reference documents the syntax as /summon <entityType> with optional position and arguments, and marks cheats as required. This command summons a regular zombie, not a giant.

How to get a giant-looking zombie with an add-on
For a custom giant zombie, use compatible Bedrock add-on content or create a custom entity. Microsoft Learn explains that new Bedrock entity types can be added using behavior packs and resource packs in its Creating New Entity Types tutorial.
That documentation describes the framework; it does not identify a specific giant-zombie download or confirm a Marketplace listing. Before installing any add-on, check that it supports your Bedrock version and device. A custom entity may look or behave like a giant zombie, but it is not the missing vanilla giant identifier.
