How to Get a Second Koraidon in Pokémon Scarlet

Yes. In Pokémon Scarlet, you can catch a second Koraidon after completing the main story and defeating the opposing Koraidon in the Zero Lab. Return to Area Zero and look beside the lab for the level 72 encounter. This is a built-in postgame catch, not a glitch or an item-based duplication trick.

How to catch the second Koraidon in Scarlet

1. Complete the main story, including the Zero Lab sequence.
2. Return to Area Zero and go to the Zero Lab area.
3. Find the second Koraidon beside the lab, battle it, and catch it. Serebii lists this encounter at level 72: Scarlet & Violet legendary Pokémon reference.

What if you have Pokémon Violet?

Pokémon Violet has a second Miraidon encounter rather than a second Koraidon. To get Koraidon in Violet, you need to trade with another Trainer—either directly or through Pokémon HOME. Buying Scarlet is another way for a Violet-only player to access the catch, but it is not necessary if trading is an option. If considering a Scarlet or Violet DLC edition, Nintendo says each is compatible only with its matching full game; check Nintendo’s Scarlet Expansion Pass listing for the Scarlet pairing.
