Open Roblox and go to Settings → Account Info → Change Display Name. Enter your desired name with a normal space, then select Save. If Roblox accepts it, the display name will update; if the field rejects the space, Roblox does not document a universal workaround.
Change your display name in Roblox
- Log in to Roblox.
- Open Account Settings. In a browser, select the gear icon; in the mobile app, open the three-dot More menu.
- Select Account Info.
- Choose Change Display Name, shown with a pencil-and-paper icon.
- Type the name you want, inserting a normal space where needed.
- Select Save, then refresh to check the result.
Roblox says display-name changes are free and can be made once every seven days. The updated name appears on Roblox and in associated experiences. Names are filtered, and Roblox may reset a display name to the username if it violates the Community Rules or Terms of Use. Other players can use the same display name. Roblox Support explains the display-name rules and steps.
What to do if Roblox rejects the space
Try typing an ordinary space directly into the display-name field. Roblox’s public support instructions do not promise that spaces will be accepted for every account, country, age, or account type. If the field reports an unsupported character, there is no documented universal bypass; the validator may handle accounts differently.
A Roblox Developer Forum user reported observing that spaced names worked only on United States accounts and described the behavior as a possible bug. That is an individual community observation, not an official Roblox rule or a guarantee that changing regions will help. Read the forum report.

Avoid exploit code, filter bypasses, VPN manipulation, and invisible Unicode characters to force a name through. Roblox says display-name text is continuously filtered and must follow its rules. Roblox Support’s display-name guidance and Community Standards cover those requirements.
Make sure you are changing the display name, not the username
The display name is the name you can change for free through Account Info. Your username is the unique account identifier and has a separate change process. Roblox’s developer documentation treats Player.DisplayName as distinct from the username. See the Player.DisplayName reference.
