Epic’s mobile free game changes weekly, with a new offer each Thursday. To see what is free now and when the offer ends, check Epic’s official free-games page or open the Epic Games Store mobile app. Epic documents free-game notifications for its desktop launcher, but its published instructions do not confirm an equivalent mobile push alert.
How do I get an alert when Epic’s mobile free game changes?
The reliable way to keep up is to check Epic’s live free-games page or mobile store each week. Epic’s page says, “Get a new free game every Thursday on Mobile and PC!” That establishes the weekly cadence, but not an exact release time for every time zone.
Offers are time-limited. Check the current game’s offer page for its claim deadline rather than assuming it ends at a particular local hour. Epic’s March 20, 2025 announcement described launch-week games as free until the following Thursday; those examples are historical, not current offers.
Where can I check this week’s free Epic Games Store mobile game?
Use Epic’s free-games page to see the current promotion and its listed terms, or check the Epic Games Store app on a supported device. Confirm the deadline on the live offer before waiting to claim it.

Does Epic send mobile push notifications for free games?
Epic’s published support instructions explain how to enable free-game alerts in the desktop Epic Games Launcher; they do not establish that the mobile store app offers the same push-alert setting. Do not rely on the desktop setting to notify a phone or tablet.
Desktop Epic Games Launcher alerts
On desktop, open the Epic Games Launcher, select Settings, then find Desktop Notifications and enable the free-game alert option. These steps apply to the Launcher on desktop, not to the mobile app.

Can I use the Epic mobile store on Android or iPhone?
Epic says its store app is available globally on Android and on iPhone and iPad in supported regions. iOS availability is therefore not universal; check Epic’s current availability information for your location before expecting to install the app. The weekly offer is digital, so no physical accessory is needed to receive an alert or claim a game.
