Primal Eggs are a limited item in Grow a Garden. Fan databases report that crafting one takes a Dinosaur Egg, a Bone Blossom, 5,500,000 Sheckles, and 30 minutes—but crafting also depends on DNA Machine progression, and the historical event routes are not confirmation that the egg is obtainable in the live game now.
What you need to craft a Primal Egg
The reported recipe is one Dinosaur Egg, one Bone Blossom, and 5,500,000 Sheckles. The Grow a Garden Pro database lists a 30-minute crafting time. These are fan-database figures, not details confirmed by the game’s publisher. Grow a Garden Pro’s Primal Egg entry.

Unlock craftable eggs first
According to the Prehistoric event guide, donating 100 kg of prehistoric plants unlocks craftable eggs. The Primal Egg entry describes crafting as requiring the fourth stage of DNA Machine upgrades. Treat the plant requirement as a progression unlock, not as an additional ingredient in the Primal Egg recipe. Grow a Garden Pro’s Prehistoric event guide.

Can you still get a Primal Egg?
Do not assume the recipe is currently available. The fan database classifies the Primal Egg as limited, and its Prehistoric event guide lists that event as completed, with dates of July 5–19, 2025. Historical event instructions describe giving a non-dinosaur pet to Graham’s DNA Machine; the Primal Egg entry says Graham’s exchange could return one to four Primal Eggs. These are past event routes, not confirmation that Graham, the machine, or the exchange is available now. Check the live game for a rerun or current access before gathering ingredients.
How long does a Primal Egg take to hatch?
The Grow a Garden Pro entry lists a hatch time of 4 hours and 10 minutes. The same fan database lists the following hatch chances; they are database-listed odds, not independently verified publisher probabilities. Grow a Garden Pro’s Primal Egg entry.
