To get a car in Schedule I, go to Hyland Auto and buy one using your online balance, according to the current vehicle guide. The guide lists six cars priced from $5,000 to $40,000, with different cargo capacities and performance stats. It does not establish whether a particular story or progression milestone is required before you can buy one.
Where to get a car
The Schedule 1 Wiki Vehicles Guide directs players to Hyland Auto, where vehicles are purchased with online balance (laundered money). Its list is a third-party guide snapshot, not an official developer specification, so prices and stats may change as the Early Access game is updated.
The available sources do not confirm a vehicle unlock requirement. If Hyland Auto or a purchase option is unavailable in your game, check the current in-game prompts and patch notes rather than assuming a specific progression step.
Which car should you choose?
These are the six cars and figures listed by the guide. Prices are in-game purchase prices; cargo capacity is listed in slots. Acceleration figures are the guide’s stated times, not independently tested results.

Choose based on the trade-off you care about:
- Lowest listed price: The Shitbox at $5,000. It has five slots and the lowest listed top speed.
- Most cargo space: The Veeper, with 16 slots—the most of the six listed cars. At $9,000, it offers substantially more listed capacity than the cheaper Shitbox.
- Highest listed top speed: The Cheetah at 93 km/h. It is also the most expensive and has only four cargo slots, the fewest listed.
- Acceleration: The Cheetah has the shortest listed times in both acceleration measures. The Hounddog is next quickest among cars with both figures provided.
The guide supplies no controlled route-time comparisons, so its speed figures do not establish how much time any car saves on a particular trip.
Driving, parking, and using storage
The sources do not verify the current controls for entering, starting, steering, parking, exiting, or opening vehicle storage. Use the prompts shown in your game or check its current controls/settings; do not rely on a key binding from an older guide as a universal instruction. The Steam listing describes Schedule I as a game where players can walk, skate, or drive around Hyland Point, but it does not document vehicle controls.

The Vehicles Guide says cars have cosmetic modifications rather than performance upgrades, and lists repainting at the Body Shop for $100. Treat that price and feature description as guide claims that may change in Early Access.
How to recover a stuck car
A GamesFuze guide updated April 2, 2025 describes this recovery route. It is a dated workaround, not a guaranteed current procedure:

- Enter the stuck car and try steering with A and D.
- If that does not free it, go to the Body Shop in front of Hyland Auto and ask Marco for “My vehicle is stuck.”
- If the dialogue option does not appear, the guide says entering the stuck vehicle first may be necessary.
Because the instructions date from April 2025, check the current in-game prompts if they differ. The guide’s mention of E to enter applies to that recovery context only; it does not confirm that E is the current universal vehicle-entry control. GamesFuze’s stuck-car guide.

Schedule I entered Early Access on Steam on March 24, 2025. Its Steam Early Access Q&A quotes developer TVGS saying the game “will continue to receive substantial content updates on a monthly basis for the next few years.” Vehicle details and controls can therefore change; confirm them against the current game build. Steam lists these Windows 10 64-bit requirements on its product page:
