The Spireton Access Override Card is an in-game quest item in The Outer Worlds 2. Game8’s walkthrough says you receive it from Presiding Bishop Ruth Basar after completing the Order-linked quest An Equitable Arrangement; use it to open certain Spireton buildings, including a route to the turret-control terminal. It does not activate the Spireton Lift.
What is the Spireton Access Override Card?
It is a common quest item used to access locked areas in Spireton, not a physical card or a separately purchased product. The item guide describes it as a way into certain buildings; the card can help you reach the terminal used to disable the area’s turrets, but you must still use that terminal. How to get the Spireton Access Override Card
Game8 reports that the card is obtained through the Order faction quest route. Quest outcomes can depend on your choices, so treat this as a guide-reported route rather than a guarantee for every playthrough.
- In the Cloister quest sequence, pursue the Order route and complete A Study in Disruption for Artificer Laureate Enola Kraft.
- Complete Crash Course in Telemetry. Game8 notes that a decision in this quest affects access to the card.
- Finish An Equitable Arrangement, then speak with Presiding Bishop Ruth Basar to receive the card, according to Game8’s quest walkthrough.
What the card opens—and what it does not
Use the card on relevant locked doors in Spireton to enter buildings and reach useful areas, including the turret terminal. The guides also describe Lockpick checks as an alternative for particular doors. The card does not itself disable the turrets; reach and operate the terminal to do that.

Do not confuse building access with restoring the Spireton Lift. The lift is re-enabled separately through controls in the Archive as part of quest progression; the card does not activate it.
