The main repeatable way to get Armoury Data in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is to play Operations, find the mission’s hidden Servo-Skull, or defeat an eligible boss if one appears. Data quality depends on difficulty, but Patch 6.0 added a Battle Barge workshop that lets you exchange lower-tier data upward—so you can obtain Relic Armoury Data without beating higher difficulties.
Where to find Armoury Data
Search Operations for the Servo-Skull
A hidden Servo-Skull can appear at randomized points during an Operation. Its position is not fixed, so use the mission’s possible locations as a search guide rather than expecting it in the same place every run. The 2024 guide identifies the Servo-Skull as a main mission source of Armoury Data.
Defeat eligible bosses
An eligible boss can also provide Armoury Data, but bosses may not appear on every run. Treat this as an additional opportunity, not a guaranteed reward for completing an Operation.
Try class Trials for basic data
A TrueAchievements Operations walkthrough says class Trials in the Armouring Hall can provide early Master-Crafted Armoury Data. This is a secondary-source claim; the official material cited here does not confirm Trial rewards.

Choose a difficulty for the data tier you need
A 2024 third-party guide maps Operation difficulty to data quality as follows. Focus Entertainment later added an exchange option in Patch 6.0, so the difficulty route is no longer the only way to reach higher tiers.

The guide does not establish a fixed amount of data per run. Your practical route depends on the difficulty you can complete comfortably, the time spent checking randomized Servo-Skull locations, whether an eligible boss appears, and whether the Battle Barge workshop can upgrade surplus data.

Use the Battle Barge workshop to exchange data
Focus Entertainment’s Patch Notes 6.0, published February 6, 2025, introduced a Tech-Priest workshop in the Armoury on the Battle Barge. It lets players exchange lower-tier Armoury Data for higher-tier variants and sell Armoury Data for Requisition Points. Focus said the exchange would let players “get relic armoury data without having to beat higher difficulties.” The inspected patch-note passage does not state exchange ratios, so check the in-game workshop for the available exchange terms rather than assuming a particular amount.

Armoury Data is used to unlock weapon tiers and fast-track weapon mastery. It is distinct from Requisition Points: Saber Interactive support describes both as currencies spent in the Armoury on perks, weapon upgrades, and heraldry. The Patch 6.0 workshop also allows Armoury Data to be sold for Requisition Points.
